Southern passion is an awesome hop. Transient used it incredibly well in Mellow AF. hoping P3 uses it as well, but we won’t know for 2 weeks because their beers are so green out of the gate

Edit: transient was mosaic and southern passion. P3 is Citra and southern passion.

I’ll be curious to see when P3 first remakes a beer. With their future double releases, I would love to see them do 1 new beer and 1 returning beer (Chantilly, Marmalade, etc). Or DDH variations of existing beers

Really? That was pre-internet age. Think about all the changes- it was a totally different era.

Anybody had any trouble shipping these beers? I’ve never lost a beer but I’ve lost one in each of my last 2 shipments. Both were P3 beers out of a variety.

I wonder if it's because the cans are filled up so much lol

Ha maybe. The top split away from the can in both instances.

They fill their cans up to the max. Every one I open it gushes out the top a bit.

It would be dishonest to fill up a 12oz can of beer with less than 12oz.

Little birdy told me there was canning line issues at Lake Zurich, hence no release this week.

Interesting. I assumed it was the Voodoo trip. In any case, I would bet on the sabro beer being at LZ Wednesday at 3 (all my speculation)

Not the recent beers but 5-6 weeks back I found those beers overfilled (they got your hand and counter wet upon opening). Maybe those cans were struggling while shipped?

Funny enough I sent a couple cans of P3 in a trade and the package was flagged when it was at the destination city. We'll see if P3 was the culprit today when my package is returned.

I shipped Rule of Thirds to a trade partner in Florida and it made it fine.

Yea I shipped to TX without an issue.

Side note I saw Rule of Thirds ON THE SHELF at the Willowbrook Binnys yesterday, I already had gotten one so left it but thought it was pretty crazy

I don’t know Willowbrook well but i wonder if they held some on the back and people stopped asking or if it was held for employees who ultimately didn’t want it

From my experience, it sounds like you know Willowbrook Binny's pretty well, actually.
