Grocery store by me has several fantome saisons and 4 packs of 120 minute hanging out, but asking $30 and $50 respectively. I'm a patient man, maybe ill see a price drop

Just stopped in a gas station that has 2017 bombers of CBS and Backwoods Bastard in the cooler. No prices and I wasn't really beer shopping but I will definitely be going back for a couple of those bastards and may try to talk about a discount for these old bottles

    Thoughts on a 50$ 4 pack of 2014 BCBS?

I am late to the game, but as @7irondave indicated, I'd jump at this. Approx. $15 for a 12oz 2014 BCBS is pretty reasonable IMO. That'd be a $60 4-pack, so getting them for less than $15/each is a great deal IMO. If you trade for them, the amount of money you spend will probably be >= $15, if you were to try to determine cost of beer you traded.

Also, as a plus, you get that amazing 4-pack holder, which I think is the true gem!!!

(I'm a BCBS and Bourbon County Brewiana nerd, and those 4 pack holders are absolutely awesome.)

Ha- late indeed- I did indeed buy the 4 pack- I wish I would have know that the 4 pack holder (which I agree is cool btw) has value to some people, It has long since been recycled- I would have sent it to you. The BCBS has also been recycled, but I am guessing you are not interested sewer diving! I really enjoyed the beer and a friend was stoked when I gifted one to him.

Very kind words! I too wish that I had seen this previously, but I was forced to take a pretty long break from BA do to real life. One of the very first sections that I have perused since returning have been cellaring and Brewiana. I'm a nut for specific brewiana items, and being a stout lover, I'm super excited about cellaring.

Glad you were able to get the 4 pack. If you haven't finished them off, be sure to savor them. Aged BC, especially 14, 13, 12 (13 being my favorite) is just a truly special experience.

Came across a hand full of 2 year old Deschutes Cultivateur Provisions saisons. 9$ for a 22, not a bad price. I grabbed two to give the beer a try and if it's good I might go back for the rest. Anyone ever had this one? seems like, based on the reviews, I'll enjoy it if I'm in the right mood for a bretty brew.

I came across some 2015 and 2016 stone RIS bombers a year or two ago. I ended up buying 4 (I think three of the 15 and one of the 16?). They had them because they closed down one of their stores, and as a result they had a bunch of old stock just lying around. Wanting to say I paid something very reasonable, like $7/bomber?

Also found some SN Bigfoot back to 2011. Bought I think one of each of most of the years to send in one of my very first trades as extras for a guy I saw dug the Bigfoot. I think I still have a couple of the older years.

These are about the extend of the old ones that I have had success finding. Just occurred to me that I should share these with the thread.

Just tried this and it's awesome, I'll add a little right up to the cellar reviews, but this is definitely an aged store gem

Have you had the Molotov yet? I have a can sitting and was wondering if it would even be good at this point.

I purchased a 750 mL Bruery Rueuze from 2014 for all of $10. I'm curious to see what 5 years has done or if the sourness is intolerable.

I just found some Smuttlabs Daily Brett bottled in November 2015 at my local store. I remember really liking the beer when it was fresh, so I'm excited to try it now.

This store has one really long aisle for beer, and I've been finding some older stuff down at the far end right before it transitions to cider, so there might be a few more gems in there. The only problem I have is that I usually pick up a few things as I'm working my way back there, so I can't get too much at a time.

Grabbed a r pack of central waters bba stout over the holidays, got it home and realized it was from either 2016 or 2017 (they do the label notch thing and it's in between those two years). Its drinking wonderfully and I wish I had grabbed a few more packs

Just today my local beer store has a few 4-packs of Ten Fidy for $6 with a canned on date of 09/06/17. So almost two and a half years old but at $1.50/can I will try one and if it's good then I'll be heading back for more!
