The bottle in my fridge begs to differ...

Are they the two-toned labels or the plain white labels? Maybe post a picture?

Both labels included lager on the front.

I mean the label on the neck. Im not sure how to post a picture, but they are both two-toned labels.

Ahhh ok, yea I just scrolled through recent pictures on untappd and saw what you were referencing. Its definitely still the same beer, just likely a small change in the neck label.

Drink one side-by-side with a Bud Light Lemon Tea and you'll get "lambic" in a hot second. Holding it up against an absurdly limited one-off Cantillon release is perhaps a slightly higher bar than Kühler deserves.

Sorry, I blacked out after "drink one...with a Bud Light Lemon Tea" (which I have now just learned is a thing)

I made an Inception Arnold Palmer with a little of both last night and it was surprisingly un-terrible.

That actually doesn't sound half bad conceptually.

I really enjoy the base beer for Kuhler but the tea is a turn off for me. If I liked tea I'd probably think it's awesome. It seems like a different base than what they have been using recently.

Realllly wanted to open my last one recently but the stupid collector part of my brain made me keep it sealed...wish I had more than I did as I intended to drink one once per year for a few years but haven't had one in 3+ years. How is it?!

If you can get past the color, it wasn't bad. Not much on the nose, but I feel this still hasn't melded. It's the least offensive it's ever been. I'd wait another year or two before opening another. I compared it to a lower abv fresh 120 minute. Not sure if that makes sense or not.

My wife and I are considering heading to NG next week. Couple questions for the beer community:
    1. Anyone been lately; wondering if any of the R&D bottles are still being sold in the beer depot.
    2. For those that have been before, any suggested must stops on our trip? Heading from the MKE area, planning to go for the day.

    Appreciate the inside in advance.

I'm not sure on what's in the depot right now, but would suggest going to Cow and Quince in downtown New Glarus for breakfast/brunch.

You can still buy the R&D Bottles at the Beer Depot. I was there last Friday 7/12 and they still had a few boxes of the most current release along with some older less popular R&D's

I don't consider myself overly PC or anything, but isn't the name "kid kolsch" kinda, well, inappropriate for a beer?

Or am I missing the point and it's actually a reference to goats? In that case I heartily approve. Baby goats near beer too.
