I got through on the app.
My desktop went directly to unavailable.

Yes, that is how it has worked in the past. All that matters is the name and birth date on the Eventbrite account.

I have to admit I am surprised that these releases continue to sell out so quickly. Good for Kane.

I've never done a beer release through Eventbrite (didn't try for this), but when I've read people's feedback in doing them, everyone seems to have much better luck with the app over desktop. Nice hustle. Congrats.

Same here. It seems to work much better on the app (save youre credit card info too!)

That seems like a gaping loophole to their "no proxy" rule if it's the case, I'm very surprised that I haven't heard about it before if it works.

Man I was just on the edge of getting a ticket, but kept waffling over driving all that way...congrats to all who got it.

It is. The problem is, even if you required the name on the credit card to be the same, there will still be people that would just use the proxy's credit card (although that would probably cut down on it some).

If anyone picking up on Sunday doesn't like the sound of the variants, I'd be happy to swap regular (either this year's or previous) for it.

You should have done it. The Jersey shore in July is great and you would have had the opportunity to stop at Yale Terrace and check it out.

Well damn. Wish I'd known the app appears to be more successful. Tried via desktop and struck out. Page literally went to unavailable within 3 seconds for me. Was nearly instantaneous. All I could do was chuckle. Oh well, next year. Cheers to all who were successful!

I had in in my cart and then decided against it for similar reasons, don't want to deal with the terrible traffic to drive to the shore in the middle of July.

    Normally the answer is yes.
I think this time it meant sold out though. I never saw it change from unavailable to tickets this time.

This lol, guess we will see

I wouldnt say this is a loop hole technically. They still will only allow you to pick up a single set, so if you did have someone "proxy"/pick it up on your behalf by changing the info on eventbrite they can only get that 1 set. So someone can't roll in and pick up 7 sets themselves. I have done this for Horus releases my buddy will get for me, I swap out his name on the check out and he picks it up for me. This issue with trying it with an ANTEAD type release is you have such limited time to make any change once its in your cart, I'd be afraid it was going to time out and lose my purchase. Also you have to make that arraignment up front and what they seem to want to prevent is some one in another state out of travel distance nailing some sets and trying to find someone after the fact or soemthing, which would be easier to do

I suppose you could have multiple Eventbrite accounts set up with different names on each and have them open in different windows. But yeah, that would be time consuming and you probably wouldn't be able to order more than 2-3 sets in time.

I’m batting a thousand on the mobile site. I’ve tried for maybe 5 releases and I’ve gotten all of them.

I’ve struck out every time using the app, so it’s not like it’s a sure thing either. Didn’t try this time though.
