    I just got home, pulled a bottle of Leinenkugel Snowdrift Vanilla Porter from the 6 pack. Hey, I'm liking it. Good vanilla notes, overall, quite tasty.

    Last time I had this was '09 (mummy). I did not age it then, and was not impressed. Got this bottle yesterday, and decided against aging so I would have a fair comparison. Totally impressed. Wish I could buy 2 but really can't justify spending the money. Going to enjoy tonight however.

    That Snowdrift went down quickly. Next up, Odell Mountain Standard. Oh my, as good as or better than I remember from last year. 9.5% abv and nary a sign of it. Oops, my belly welly begs to differ.

    Cheers BA's. My long weekend begins tonight with kids home from school tomorrow. Starting with a Maine Lunch IPA which I usually can't find around here. If inspired I may try to knock out a homebrew RIS this evening.
