a refreshing perspective indeed, much like a barleywine on a 100 degree afternoon

 

Personally, I only drink barleywine when I'm drenched in sweat.

 

Shamefully, I'd still probably buy it.

 

When the fight breaks out over the last 4 pack you can be sure they will have assaulted strawberry barleywine.

 

I have been expecting the turnout for this to be not as bad as some others have mentioned on here. I figured that cans would make it through most of the evening. Between it being "only" a barleywine and the weather, I figured people would be a bit more casual with this release. And based on the showing at one of the tasting previews last night, I would have expected the cans to last into tomorrow - there was hardly anybody at the one I was at.

Of course, all of that means it will be a complete mess and there's probably already 600 people lined up.

 

I just can't see a BW release in 100+ deg heat being a s***show but the community never ceases to amaze me.
