Kane Brewing (2019)

I have used both, I have had more success with the app. For this one, the app immediately went up at 12 and I was able to grab it and check out. I had the website up as well and it still wasnt up yet on there and then went straight to unavailable.

 

As I’ve said and others as well I am batting zero using the app. I would agree it’s a combination of random chance, WiFi, cell service, etc.

 

I chalk it up to user error mostly, and like @fdonnelly mentioned, there was a delay on the site. There are also extra steps on the site. Its two taps on the phone. If you have good cell service / WiFi and have the app open right a noon its pretty hard to miss out.

100% agree with this. I think its all up to chance. I've been shut out on desktop multiple times while my wife has gotten through on the website on her cell phone from work.

Thats not what I said at all! Of course there is always chance involved but Ive found there are usually other factors at play. Do you have your account open on both your phone and the computer?

 

I was just fooling around based on you saying user error/hard to miss out. As I said I skipped this release but in the past I’ve used the app and have everything ready to go but have lost out every time. It’s not a big deal either way but I always enjoy the Kane Event Brite discussions.

 

I probably clicked on tickets 6 times and the next page never showed anything. My first time missing out.

 

New IPA- Wax Comb being released today. I don’t remember them ever doing a Thursday release that wasn’t snowstorm related. Maybe to avoid a huge crowd on Saturday?

 

do what they will, there will still be a large crowd. Why, who knows, but Ill roll in Sunday to pick up my set once its died down

 

Sunday is my plan too. Maybe even next Sunday probably will be even quieter I’d bet.

 

goodluck to you all picking up this weekend it's supposed to be 99 and 98 both days (at least by me) so i can't imagine hanging at the brewery given the lack of AC. For the record i didn't try for this release, just a shame though for any1 picking up esp those traveling from further as it will not really be tolerable to spend any time hanging for pours.

 

If you can't imagine hanging there, try to imagine brewing there...yeesh!

they did recently put a giant fan in, its right near the end of the bar/seating area. It seemed to actually help last time I was there but yeah its gonna be brutal in there. I may go Sunday, but may just go next week, gotta figure my plans out.

I will see one of the worst I've ever felt was sitting in the Kane taproom like 2 summers ago and it was like 97 and humid and I was drinking a beer and I said to my friend I didn't know if my hands were wet from my glass or me sweating oof

 

Now I’m a little more sad I passed on ANTEAD.

 

I’ll bet it lasts past the weekend.
