    Gusswerk Steinbier! A historical and original Austrian type of ale that is named for the use of hot stones in heating the wooden mashing tubs.

    For a historic and almost extinct type of beer, it doesn’t taste too different from a normal modern beer. A bit toasty and some caramel, but not bad. Still, I would’ve expected some more exotic for a medieval style.

    So I thought New Belgium's Juicifer hazy IPA was way better than most would likely expect, given the brewery. Several cans of Juicy Haze and I can say, this one is about as disappointing as Juicifer is surprisingly good.

    It's still tasty, in a way, just not what I want. Ahh well. Three cans left. :wink:

    Love these Dragon's Milk reserve stouts. This one (maple oak) is exceptionally fine. At $18.49 for the four pack impossible to go wrong. Cheers.

    You could go back and look !!!!!

    My guess is that it had to deal w the part where you said "Did I tell you about my Social Security check?" I said " Tell me about that check. Are you sending it here ?" I mean after all you have mentioned on several occasions that you would help me if you could.

    I could be wrong though so go back and look

    I saw them live at the Reichstag in West Berlin in the mid-eighties (probably 1986, part of a three-day outdoor concert with the Eurythmics, David Bowie (his Glass Spider Tour) and many, many others.

    Caramel Fudge Stout from Kees brewery (NL). Glassware is somewhat improvised, since my wife broke my favorite 'snullip' yesterday.

    This glass worked very well for many types of beer. I have to buy a small batch of Hommel Beer soon to get a new glass :slight_smile:

    I am too lazy to do that. More than likely my post was just pure nonsense like most of my posts at that hour. Or just some sort of diversion tactic. Or most likely, my brain did not properly process the subject at hand. You are welcome to my SS check. After they take out Medicare and 25% federal tax, there is not much left.

    At the moment, I am preoccupied with what beer am I gonna buy when I go to Veil tonight for their Tuesday release.
