Full day...first up was the De Young Museum with a really cool exhibit on Tattoo artist Ed Hardy, then visited the Legion of Honor Museum with a special exhibit of Reuben...walked 7 miles in all and my dawgs are barkin’ - Grapefruit Sculpin at sunset:

    Ed Hardy:

“Free Range and Howboy” 2009. Hardy made so much loot off of the marketing of his designs on t-shirts and posters, etc. in the mid 2000s that he retired from tattooing in 2008, and now continues with his artistic endeavors. Cheers from the east bay!

After seeing you guys post this for months, I finally found some in the wilds of Sacramento, CA. A seriously unique brew, for sure, not entirely sure how much I like it . . . I think it needs to warm a bit before I can make a good assessment.

    Unfortunately...

I forgot I hated it, and how much I hated it :slight_frown: damn man! I think I'm gonna go to the fridge for a better beer.

Definitely love this one a bit warmer than most. So many amazing flavors come out. Enjoy!

Yes, I'm starting to get it now . . . the figs and dates are really coming through. Very complex, unlike anything I've had before.

Earlier I checked out the liquor store down the street from my new house, and look at this beer I found (Vertical 2002, but it’s stamped that it was bottled in 2016):

    Mike Trout is insane.

Back in 2013 I didn’t like this beer because all I knew were West Coast IPA’s. Here in 2019, I love it. Great East Coast IPA:

The bottle itself is actually "Picon Biere" which I THINK is a weaker descendant of Amer Picon that is designed to pair with beer. I haven't had a similar mix since trying it in France a long time ago. I certainly enjoyed it, but I've also had the above straight and enjoyed it more that way (ditto for the beer). Back when I ordered the Picon Biere straight (w/o beer), the bartender looked at me like I was nuts. Tonight, when I ordered the Picon Biere mixed with beer, the bartender (different from the first one) looked at me like I was nuts.

Not exactly feeling this one, BA’s. Kind of tastes like a sweet, grape IPA. I’ll try and finish it:
