Dang, there is a LOT going on here but it works. I was skeptical at first with the 8 hops and 8 grains but somehow they all play together nicely. Huge tropical fruit bomb along with tons of ripe stone fruits and bright citrus. Even at 8.6% it manages to drink relatively light on its feet and has that tell tale BW hoppy bite at the back end. Great soft creamy body. Well played BW !

    Cheers,

Have to agree Bud. Lots going on inside that can on my first pour. Very good. But lets see how long the flavors will last in the next few weeks. I picked up 1 4pk for now.

This is one beer that I will not let sit for long David, way to many hops that will most likely fall off pretty quickly, and I think one four pack is all you need with a beer like this.

Man I thought we were done with trying to cram a million different hops into beers but I guess not.

I love BW, but this doesn't sound appealing at all. I hope I'm wrong and I hope I like it, but it seems like most of my favorite IPAs only have 1-3 hops in them, tops.

I hear you and my original post on the previous page of this thread noted my concerns for this beer and it's copious amount's of hops and malts.....however, for me it worked, it's actually a really fun beer but as I responded to David Gunz I think one four pack is more than enough. It's not a muddled mess that It could have easily been, props to Julian and the BW brew crew for that.

    Cheers,

I was a convert to this Tuesday night. Big and robust flavors. Definitely right in line with other hazies of the area surrounding.

    ...but Double Gator was exquisite.

Boo it's still not on at Seal, or it was on earlier and kicked really quick.

Anyone know what Cluster 4-packs are going for at the brewery?

20+. Right in line with Monkish and others. I think Morgan said $23 something OTD with taxes.

How’s the Double Gator? It’s huge at 9.9 on the ABV scale. I’m going to have to stop in and try this one.

Had it yesterday, best way I can describe it is a solid West Coast IPA that's from 2010. It's hard to discern the beer itself from Beachwood's other offerings but that's not a bad thing, as almost all their IPAs are killer.

I was going to stop by my HB location on the way home from work last night. But I figured by the time I get into the HB area they'd be closed. So I detoured off Western and headed to Monks for a quick grab and go 4pk instead. I can stop in BWHB tomorrow for DOTH. It aint going away anytime soon.

Was it better than BW's collab with Smog? OGIPA? I thought it was just okay.

Can we talk about canbic? Im excited to try it even though the packaging makes me think its gonna be a super sweet kettle sour until i realize im being dumb. Also is that Vito? Is he back with Beachwood? I feel weird saying his first name bc ive never had a conversation with him beyond putting in a drink order but yeah... Is that Vito?

I don't know if he's back at Beachwood, but that "commercial" is freaking hilarious
