I wasn't sure if there was a hidden gem that isn't highly rated or something I had to try just because it's so unique.

Its not in your style list (though for the most part their probably won't be hidden gems in stouts, IPAs, and sours), but consider trying the Mjod braggots. They aren't rated well at all, but its not a style you'll see all that often and I think they're pretty interesting. At 18% though you'll need to be a bit careful around them.

2019 will be the last year I spring for the VIP ticket because of the bottles. I've tried most everything aside from IWAAD and Tape Rock, and have been sorely disappointed with all of the offerings. They all taste so similar, and all cloyingly sweet and under attenuated. The ratings hype train doesn't accurately reflect that the quality of the beers from 2019 Wakefest pale in comparison to the 2018 Wakefest beers. I'm trying to get rid off all of the remaining bottles

I haven't had anywhere near as many of their offerings as you, but the (2) that I have tried (Red lion & Blue lion from the Adjunctron Series or whatever its called) I have only been able to drink 8 oz and dumped the rest. Perhaps I'm in the minority but the flavors were muddled, texture was syrupy, and was flat/zero carb.

Compared to the BL bottles I received and drank in between these two bottles I wish I had not sprung $$ for this series. Having been to Cycle in St. Pete, perhaps they are a big hit or big miss brewery with their stouts as Cycle has been known to be. Anyways, would still love to check out the taproom some time to try more of their portfolio.

Flying home from Miami tomorrow at 5. Saw they’re releasing BA A stout with no name tomorrow at 2, do I have time to make it? Are there lines for weekday releases?

You should be fine. This is a small release on a Tuesday. If you can get there 30 min before I'd be shocked if you weren't out by 12:30.

Which two? BA Stout with No Name I really liked, but haven't had the base to compare to. BA Mongo I've thought was as good as it was in the past, but I'm a sucker for Barleywines and being BA doesn't hurt at all. Not sure if I missed something in the last week or so though.

Mexican Pinatas was too cinnamon forward but should be ok once they put it in a barrel. I thought BA and non BA "A Stout with No Name" is the best stout he's put out in a while (not counting Wake VIP botles). I got lots of barrel ( a little hot still ) and some coconut with very little vanilla from it but that may change.

Not necessarily, they’ll be handing out bands during the week prior for allotments.
