Smog City (2019)

how about a new location on the East Side, where it is actually more smoggy

 

I thought this move was weird too, with getting a bottling line as opposed to a canning line. They're so close to the beach and they're also all about being green, so it did seem odd. Maybe it's a choice that the owners felt was more fitting for them or something, bottles do tend to have a more "boutique" feel to them. I have pretty high faith in them though, if anything, there hasn't been enough Smog to go around IMO. At least in my area.

If it's just a straight up taproom, it isn't too logistically hard to divert some keg numbers to that location since it's much easier to keg draft numbers than it is to package in bottles/cans.

 

Anybody tried the newest batch of Is Ticking Clock? I thought it was fantastic. A ton of coffee, a hint of coconut. I’m enjoying it more than batch 1. I ended up buying 2 bottles and I will buy more.

 

Had it Saturday. Fantastic. Great balance of flavors, ABV lands in a sweet spot at 8.7% - even mid day in (shaded) summer heat, it was a treat.
