    We should switch.

Here in Boston we're in the middle of a "heat wave" (in quotations because this is probably nothing for Alabama) which is highs of low to mid 90s, and lows of high 70s to low 80s. I love it.

I don't think the weather is great until it's in the 80s. I HATE the cold.

Nah, that's more than I would have done. I just grab my glassware, no rinsing, and pour. Then hope for the best.

To be fair, my dishwasher seems to clean my glasses pretty well.

Which malt(s) on that list are you referring to?

Unpopular opinion, Sam Adams Octoberfest is a crappy beer.

I want to move to Nuuk Greenland because the high temps are shorts weather for me and the lows are more than bearable for me...this shit in the 80s kills me.

The only malt with Munich in the name at 60 lovibond, I guess the sublink doesn't do enough to indicate. Apologies.

So I tried the Kosmic Sour. I'm not really sure what this beer's reason for existence is supposed to be... The label says it's a blend of Kosmic Mother Funk and something -- it doesn't say what, but from the taste I'd have to guess Boston Lager. At first sniff it smells like a kettle-soured beer to me even thought they claim it's wild yeast. The taste, however, is more funky than sour -- although there isn't a whole lot of funk either. If their aim was to make the mildest sour OR funky beer imaginable, they nailed it...

Could not agree more!!! No pumpkin this year?! No black lager? I Personally would have loved to have seen a return of the Spruce Lager from last year that beer was soo good! Idk if I will pick this pack up considering you can get every beer in this years fall pack in a stand alone six pack. Sad Samuel Adams use to be my favorite brewery but they have been slacking lately... watch them not put Old Fezziwig Ale in the winter classics lol people will riot.

Don't pick it up! This is garbage! I have grown up with a sierra and samuel adams pack for every season and loved it. Don't promote this garbage. They have both left seasonal packs and it SUCKS. Don't promote it.

To get rid of bubbles on a “dirty” glass, after pouring simply give the glass a firm downward tap on a hard surface.

Really missing the sam Adams fall pack too. I liked their maple red. Last year’s spruce lager was surprisingly good. Cheers!

I could see this breaking many glasses, especially something like a Spiegelau for example.

Why did I just get a picture in my head of the scene in Fight Club where Project Mayhem over-pastes a billboard with "Did you know that used motor oil can be used to fertilize your lawn?"

So I saw my first Okto today -- Goose Island's Oktoberfest. I believe it was the first one I spotted last year too, probably for obvious reasons of location.

But I opted for another 12 pack of SN Summerfest -- doing my best to help clear the shelves for the next seasonal.

Lol yes we should. I mean 90s is basically what we have here now, the difference is the high levels of humidity we get from the Gulf. 90s is hot either way you spread it, but when you add the sauna effect it's miserable. You know that skin tingle you get walking in a sauna? That's what you get on the worst of days here.

I'll say this, I don't like the cold cold weather (25 and below). Again we have more humidity so when it hits the low 20s its COLD (a wet cold). My favorite weather is the 40s - 50s.

I love Marzens, just this one is as weak as a field goal attempt when you are down by more than a touchdown.

    Really?

I love other marzens as well. But, part of my love of SA is because it was my first beer outside of Miller. I was in college and at the beer store on a Friday afternoon in Tuscaloosa and saw "SA Octoberfest" and thought heck I'll try it. Anyway, that's part of the reason for my being faithful to SA.

Their fall mix pack was pretty good a couple of years ago for me. Their winter beers are just amazing!
