Not to be confused with the Fall Beer Sightings thread under the Beer Talk forum, I figured it was time to start our own thread. Seasonal creep argument aside, and whether or not you like Oktoberfest or pumpkin ales, the Fall seasonals have started to arrive. So far, I've just seen two, beginning with Altstadt Brewing Oktoberfest and Seguin Brewing Oktoberfest. From what I understand though, Seguin Brewings Oktoberfest is available in their tap room year round, so not truly a seasonal. I've also seen posts from other breweries, such as Left Hand and Great Lakes, saying that they have just released their Oktoberfests too. So what have you seen on the shelf, and what Fall seasonals are you excited to see hit again? Prost!!!

If anyone sees Saint Arnold Pumpkinator or Oktoberfest anytime soon, let me know. I love those beers. Perfect fall beers.

Makes me wish they were available in California.

I know I've seen Rahr posting on Facebook about their Oktoberfest and they just changed their cover photo to it. I haven't looked at a beer selection in the store recently to know if it's out yet or just soon.

I assume the Altstadt is bottled and out in distribution or is it taproom only? I'm ready for them to add distribution to North Texas because their beers are good and I'd like to add an altbier to my rotation. I'm going to search out their Oktoberfest this year if it's available.

I’ll have to keep an eye out for the Rahr Oktoberfest. The Altstadt Oktoberfest is in bottles and on store shelves now.

Alright. I'm pretty sure I'll be going to Austin sometime in August so I'll check out the Altstadt Okto.

Pumpkinator won't be soon. I think they post the release date on the website.

EDIT, per the website "released around October 15th every year".

Not the best (or the worst), but Shiner Oktoberfest is also now popping up. Rahr’s is also supposed to start on August 1st and Sam Adams should be on the shelf any day now. These are great, but I can’t wait for this years Sierra Nevada collaboration or for Hofbrau’s Oktoberfest to return!

Avery said the Kaiser will be released on 8/19. Looking forward to it and Ayinger.

Shiner Oktoberfest is always one I look forward to. I believe it was 2013 that I thought it was one of the best ones of the year.

I definitely think it's better than Saint Arnold's normally.

Real Ales Oktoberfest is now out on the shelves, and I saw a post from Specs that they’re starting to get the Ayinger Oktoberfest!

Specs confirmed they just received their first shipments of Ayinger Oktoberfest. I know where I'll be going after work!

Sam Adams Oktoberfest and Fall Variety packs are now on the shelf. I must admit I’m highly disappointed in the fall pack lineup. Boston lager, Oktoberfest, Sam 76, and Kosmic Sour. IMO, and as expressed in the Fall Seasonal thread under Beer Talk, this is not a fall pack by any stretch

Total Wine now has the 2019 Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest collaboration, but only in 12 packs!

Total Wine in the Forum. They only had a few, so they must have only had a small initial shipment.

I don’t know the details but I know Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest has been available some years and not others. Of anyone sees any in TX, please tag me, it’s my favorite Oktoberfest.

Sierra Nevada, Saint Arnold, and Real Ale oktoberfests are showing up in Houston. The first two were are at Total Wine, the latter at HEB Heights. @cfh64, I did not see any of the German ones yet.

Hacker Pschor Oktoberfest is on the shelf at HEB in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. The beer finder on their brewery web site is actually pretty accurate in showing where it's available. You may give that a shot.

I just saw a post from a beer store in the Dallas area saying that Real Ale and Shiner Oktoberfests are now in stock as well as:
    -Hop & Sting 3113 Märzen
    -903 Oktoberfest
    -Oak Highlands Brewery Oktoberfest

Of these I thought the 3113 was not just a seasonal but I know this is the first time it's been canned and I've never seen it outside of the taproom which I've only been to once.

903 I did not like at all last year.

But Oak Highlands Brewery won a medal for the Oktoberfest at GABF last year.

Also I just went to Legal Draft today and their Lawktoberfest is now available at the taproom and should be in stores soon.
I thought it was quite good but it's a paper Festbier. Very light copper/golden color but very malty.
