You get hop showers at least once a month, it's been about 3 months since the last dual.

 

Is the guy that usually does sandwiches on Saturdays there on sundays?

 

Speaking of dual hops, would love a return of DDH Citra + Galaxy.

 

Does anyone even remember the last time they made this? One of my top 3 OH. Wonder why it has been so long.

Well, take my recommendation it's worth. You may also recall that Cabbage is my favorite so that's probably worth taking into account before giving any clout to Rochester.

 

I loved this one, too, and even more than ACE, which struck me as good but overrated (by the estimable gentry on this thread). Maybe it's that "small hit of lactose" <shudder> or maybe it's just a wonderful combination of hops on the right kind of base, but I thought it had a lot more going on and was overall much better and more interesting drinking.

Triple Mylar Daydream, on the other hand, tastes like leachate from an overripe cantaloupe dumpster. Not exactly enjoyable, but if you survive a can your sensibilities might be so warped and forgiving that you don't really care.

Glad I passed on TMD, trying to stay away from high ABV IPAs. DDH Mylar is awesome enough.

DDH ACE is a great beer, don't think it is overrated but I can see what you are saying.

6/28/18, I know this only because I took a picture while drinking it on tap after I grabbed cans and it is my Untappd profile picture lol. it was a Thur and DDH Citra Daydream (not the double one) was there as well from a Tues drop so I stopped in and grabbed both.

Side note, did we decide on a date for the August meet up?

 

Kind of related, but has anyone noticed the water that OH has in that yellow jug for drinking tastes kind of...weird? I'm an avid NYC tap water drinker, and I'm 99% it's not that.

Does OH hate NY so much they won't even serve the tap water?

 

Yellow jug? Are we talking about the water cooler thing with the reusable plastic cups near the entrance or something else?

My original theory was that they were adding a hint of lactose to the water, but seeing as they could probably can that and sell it to the die-hards, I'm doubting it's that.

 

The combination of my color-blindness and the word jug just made me want to check. Yeah the water in there certainly tastes aged at the very least

If the meet up ends up falling on a day I can make, ive been able to get my hands on some Double Citra and Double Galaxy if we want to get a DDH Space Diamonds and DDH ACE can for a side by side on each

 

Actually good point. Right now it seems 8/10 (day) or 8/16 (afternoon/eve) are the two most popular options. Should we pull the trigger on one? If we do the latter, @jrnyc is there no way to make a Friday afternoon or eve work?
