eh, i'm not applauding an established behemoth like HA for graciously reducing their egregious DDH pricing model to what the rest of the market has been at for years.

actually, it's still $1-2 above market.

If this was the November release, it was right before thanksgiving which probably was a big factor. If there was a release since November then I must have missed it.

Regardless, there’s a glut of options in the market right now which will hopefully help it last a little longer.

Don't let Trillium hear this

Lincoln storefront is empty right now, plenty of glasses and beer left.

Went to Lincoln taproom at 1PM. Plenty of FSDDC. Enjoyable as expected, but On the Lawn took me by surprise. Really flavorful (citrusy) with a good mouthfeel for only 4.6% abv. They need to can that beer!

    Do the math - that’s a whole $0.50/can!

T-13 days. Not that I'm counting or anything... can't wait to try some of these recent mentions (though I've had the DDC/FSDDC) like On The Lawn and the Amaro Hut.
    YUM.
I'm haunting this thread until the BN to try and encourage y'all to come out for it.

I had a can of Fully Saturated last night, and...while it's good, I'm not sure it distinguishes itself enough to make it that interesting to me. It's a nice beer with a pretty "Half Acre" hop profile, and I appreciate that it's a little on the dry side.

In fairness, I'm not a huge DC or DDC fan, so in light of that, maybe what I said is a compliment?

I'm definitely interested in trying a galactic version, though.

    @habc_me
the Hut Hut section really intrigues me. Just cut me off, Steve, if I start wearing a monocle and drinking too much of the Amaro Hut. I'll be totally insufferable otherwise.

Both sound really interesting but the $25 4 pack, puts us into some uncharted water....

Well, 2 of the 4 cans are a 13% vanilla marshmallow stout. I'd expect that to push the cost by $3-5.

    Fair point.
Yeah, I mean, there are a lot of ways to approach this.

    1) It's a mixed 4-pack with a DIPA milkshake and vanilla imperial stout. You're getting 32 oz. of each beer for $25, that's not bad.

    2) Half Acre has pretty variable pricing, and I support that. They've got low-end options (the year round stuff including Bodem), mid-range ones (a lot of the "standard" one-offs and the higher abv beers like Navaja) and higher-end pricing (the super-hopped one-offs, sours, BA beers, etc.).

    3) They could've released 4-packs of each, and then people would've complained that it would cost them (let's say) ~$40-45 to get cans of each. Instead, they're basically breaking up the 4-packs.

I'm not getting these either way (I'll be out of town), but I'm not averse to paying $25 for this in the same world that I've had to pay $20 for a 4-pack of a DIPA or milkshake IPA.

I didn't connect that this was a mixed 4 pack. I thought it was 4 packs of each. The mixed 4 pack makes this a better value IMO
