This one might be different because of blackberry, but there hasn't really been a line the last few Fridays. No sharing allowed. Also, I sent you a pm.

I honestly forgot they open at 10, and thought it was 9.

Thanks for helping me sleep in.

What's a reasonable expectation for tomorrow in terms of arriving at NG? 8 am should be early enough correct? I know that the no line sharing enforcement affected the turnout at these releases. However, this is batch 2 of what many believe to be NGs best beer. Are we expecting a massive turnout with people there at 3 am? Or arriving between 8-10am should gurantee the 2 bottles? Trying to gauge when to leave as I'm two hours away. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks and cheers.

Let's not forget that OG VSB was made in really low quantities and the forefront of beer sell/trade capitalism is what skyrocketed it's hype status. People aren't going to be able to go through the line 5 times and sell each bottle for hundreds of dollars.

Remember when OG CBS was all the rage? And now it sits on every shelf and collects dust all year. Point being that I think we'd all be surprised if NG sold out of this release even a few weeks from now. You'll be fine, so no need to overexert yourself trying to beat everybody there.

Most importantly, drink the beer and enjoy it. :sunglasses:

Got here a few minutes ago, looks like it was very unnecessary to come this early. Line isn't even to the end of the main parking lot yet.

Yes, Blackberry is on tap and it’s delicious! Don’t sleep on Kriek because it’s pretty great as well.

I've been to almost every R&D release since 2012. As far as I know they only ever sold out before open once, on one of the three Wild Peach days. Iirc the line at open stretched almost out to the highway that day. Every release since has lasted the day, and most have been available at the depot for weeks at least.
Tldr; You don't have to get there early

Just grabbed my bottles, upon scanning my ID I was told to grab my bottles right away because they were starting to get low on today's allotment

The fewest people were they and they ran out the quickest. The only reason they sold out early that day was because they had nothing in place to prevent people getting multiple allotments, a young naive employee started handing out tickets at the stairs and people were getting 2 or 3 tickets. The next day they changed it to Deb walking the line giving you the ticket.
