I stopped in an Lincoln for lunch today and tried the new collabs. I thought Up/Up was really tasty, with orange creamsicle flavors and a marshmallow finish that really stayed with me. The Down/Down was just ok. Lots of sweet marshmallow up front and then I felt like it kind of died off in the mid-palate. Needed some more body IMO. Not a terrible beer, but not one I'd go after again.

 

But what happened when you blended them?

 

down/down is fantastic, imo.

Tons of marshmallow, and finishes dry with a bit of bitterness, which I loved (instead of sweet all the way through for the pastry boiz). The body is nice and thick, and leaves a sweet and sticky lacing on the glass and your lips.

 

The Ginger Pork burrito is ON POINT.

 

My liver is on point. T-5 DAYS....
Hope to see a few of you there. Will update on Friday what I plan to wear and look like on Saturday so you can approach me with caution. I won't bite. At first.

 

Crown Hut is fantastic. Although it is heavy lime.

Didn't know HA did weekday (not including Friday) releases. Also, this beer is fantastic.

 

I think this is a rotation beer at this point. Think they release it a few times a year so it isn't really Friday worthy.

 

Wouldn’t anticipate it. Many beers, specially the 1-off variants kick throughout the event and then they are replaced with a new beer.

 

'bout to hit HA/Lincoln, the OG, to try that smoking gull, severe weather, among others.
