This is from my Budapest trip last year... Going to Krakow in Aug:

Neked Csak Dezső! - Brewpub & Bistro (brewery wasn't open last year, but food was good)
New York Palace Café (just get a coffee, crazy expensive, but beautiful inside)
Mazel Tov
Regős Vendéglő (lunch)

Beer:

Hopaholic
Beer Point Budapest

Must do:
Szimpla Ruin Pub (the whole area at night)
Time-lapse photos of Parliment at night from Buda side at the water and above Budapest Castle Hill Funicular
Walk around Vajdahunyad Castle

- Wezze Krafta
- Multi Qlti Tap Bar

 

Cool, am definitely hitting Wezze and Qlti.

 

An absolute must in Krakow Teatime Brewery, owned by an Englishman from Huddersfield. They brew delicious English cask ales. Legit. I cannot say enough about this brewpub. The pub itself is nothing to write home about....but the beer, oh the beer

 

Glad to find this thread....I'm going to Budapest in a couple weeks.

 

Have fun! Craft beer scene has evolved a lot in Budapest during the last couple of years.
