Any update on the line? The baby decided that I’m not going to be able to head out until early afternoon.

It's not kentuckley bad but line has wrapped around the block. I'd say more than 50, less than 100 at this point.

I think Chris does a great job with the releases because of the fact that he varies the limits which allows the beer to be available for people for the entire day. Kentuckley bottles were available past the original Bark Lord Day so as bad of a shitshow that people claim it was, you were able to roll up at 8pm & get on of their most sought after bottles with zero line.
Transient announced earlier in the week that limits would LIKELY be 6 Smuckley & 4 Prince so for those planning a long drive you have an idea in advance what you would be looking at. Yes those allotments will go down as the day goes on so if wanna shitlord & get in line at 7am...cool but if you wanna roll in at 4pm w/no line then you can still get bottles. You probably won't get 6/4 but thanks to changing allotments you'll get some.

This is how they've done every release & I think it's a great way to accommodate both the shitlord flippers/sellers and they loyal members/patrons that have no interest in standing in line

Felt this release was mich smoother than,Bark lord. Likely, due to smaller crows. I didn't arrive until around 12:30-12:40 and got the full allotment, back on the road by 1:30ish. Not bad at all

Larger crows often cause immense problems at beer releases...their intelligence, matched with their physical strength usually get them to the front of the lines quickly. And they do NOT adhere to the arbitrary limits set by Transient!!!

Maybe this is something that doesn't need to be discussed here on a public forum about beer?

I’ll respectfully disagree. In a market so saturated with quality options, I (and many other consumers I know) prefer to be conscientious about the businesses that we patronize. I understand that not everyone feels this way.

I’m visiting the area next month and had planned on stopping at Transient, but don’t think I will based on this information. I thought that at least one or two readers might feel similarly and pointed out this article accordingly. I didn’t think anyone would take issue with my discussion of a brewery owner in a thread about the brewery. And yes, I’m aware that these are mere charges.
