Doubtful but then again, this type of release is unique.

 

it might, but that line at opening would be pretty rough if it does, lol.

i wonder if this might be more frequent in the future. it would definitely help people from out of town with their chances at being able to stumble upon cans.

 

Idk why he did it, but I dont mind it. Silent releases are great for everyone not just the locals.

 

Yea, i like the idea but dude........ya know me and my Nelson LOL, might have to drop by after dinner and see if any is left. Wonder how much he canned ?

Don’t think it counts as the release this week. Just got here and they’re already sold out sadly. Apparently it was a 15 barrel batch.

 

^^^So, SOOOO this...that would be me...and let me be honest here, when I rolled up to the tasting room, I was extremely excited solely about tasting the 7 hazies on the board...which is a lot. I was totally shocked and surprised to the point that I almost shed a tear that they had a secret, surprise can release!!! What!?!?!?!? HAHA! I was so excited that the young lady tending bar asked me why. I told her I was from the Sac Area and just in town for a business trip. She was very excited for me!!! I still can't believe it...and a 100% Nelson DIPA?!?!?!?!?!?! it feel like I hit the lottery or something! LOLOLOLOL!!!

 

It was indeed a small test run that Henry did today that was initially going to be a tap growler fill release only. They did a very small 15 barrel batch and decided at the last minute to can a bit. 90-100 allotments that sold out at 6pm. Stoked for all those that don't get the cans on a regular basis and just happened to be at the right place at the right time for IMHO the best beer Monkish has ever made and were able to get cans. I dropped in around 8:15 tonight and was stoked to get this little bundle of joy ! Filled a couple of jugs too because this won't stick around long.
