The fact it's not a real beer doesn't really affect the likelihood of most of us getting it anyway.

"lasting 3 hours" seems like something that I would not be proud of.

Well, and the impression I get is that lasting 3 hours was at least partially due to the glassware. It was a 24 limit but it didn't say in packs of 4 or anything, so I would imagine waiting on people to figure out how many they wanted and pack them up delayed things. Usually i would guess people just max out on crowlers so it's pretty easy for the people at the register to shuffle people through. Add in the variable and suddenly it's a nightmare. Not as if there wasn't a line from my impression. Didn't sell out till after normal closing and extensive apologies for the line.
Also it was an IPA and the Instagram alert worked so unless something crazy happened I don't think demand and supply suddenly shifted.

I was gonna say the same, but I bailed on it because I didn't feel like facing The Wrath Of The Neckbeards™

It is what it is. There was plenty there way after the glassware line subsided.

I feel like I’m missing something here. What’s with the lasting three hours, proud, not proud, wrath of the neckbeards? The beer lasted longer than usual- that I get. But what’s the debate?

That the only reason it lasted that long was that there was merch for sale which slowed down the line. So it was only perceived to last longer. Or something. I didn't go. I usually don't. But that's what I'm taking away from the conversation.

Quick question about the Brick Farm tavern - does the bar remain open between 2:30pm - 5pm on Fridays? I noticed their kitchen closes between lunch and dinner, but am I correct to assume the bar remains open? Looking to swing by mid afternoon this Friday.

I don't think the bar is open during that window, but you can get there a little before 5pm. There was no bartender on duty when we arrived around 430 one time but someone was there a bit before 5. If you call to confirm that please let us know.

I’m fairly certain it’s open because (1) you can sit down for lunch at 2:30 and (2) it’s open during that window on Saturdays. Just call and ask.

I forget which day it was when I went (either thurs or friday) around 4:45 (on my way home from work) and the bar was not open yet. They let me sit down but it was about 15 minutes before the bartenders were ready..

The bar definitely stays open Friday afternoons. I was just there yesterday.

Anyone else going to the Brick Farm Tavern beer fest this Sunday? On their Instagram account, they said an email would be coming shortly....6 days ago. Still haven't received one. The list of breweries looks pretty good, but I'd like to get an idea of what is being pouring beforehand. Anyone hear anything?

Does anyone know if the latest release confirms the rumor that the Little Log Cabin series from Tired Hands was actually Troon?

Meaning Little Log Cabin (Tired Hands) had nothing to do with making this beer?

I posted a pic from the LLC Instagram account the other week where they said they went to Troon and brewed the beer with Alex.

Label on the can has description of the beer and made by your good friends at Troon and Little Log Cabin.

Also says Brewed and Canned by Troon Brewing Company at the bottom of the label.

I think that LLC - IS - Troon.

I always just thought LLC was just a side project of Tired hands. Haven't bought any of their stuff but have been to tired hands a number of times and bought TH cans a number of times. The LLC stuff is available at their general store and through their dudley direct service that delivers to PA only.

I took the post for what it said - a collab between LLC & Troon. Also not sure how it would be canned by Alex & Troon unless they somehow have bought a canning line, which is generally quite expensive and takes up a ton of space and we all know how tight Troons current spot is... unless they somehow got an additional location up and running.

The "cans" that Troon sold were their standard crowlers. So no need for a special canning line.
