Phase Three Brewing (2019)

Good for them! I always love to see breweries making a non-hazy IPA, even if they made their name doing the hazy stuff.

 

I would imagine this will be similar to Imperial Falling Colors which is a good thing

Note: I just realized you were talking about the ipa. But yeah a nice change up

 

Pressed is out at LZ. Ipa had a few 4 packs left

 

Binnys Schaumburg and AH were still waiting for theirs at 5pm

 

Looks like they upped their can art game. I dig.

 

The South Loop stores (Printer's/Warehouse) both got theirs in the past 40 minutes or so. I ran over to grab some and there didn't appear to be much there...and I was there pretty quickly after they posted. Not sure if allocations are small for all the stores, or if a lot of it just went quickly before I got there.

 

They've got a long way to go...

 

Only four 2-packs of Pressed, and five 4-packs of Lost in the Moment left at Grand - if anybody is planning on stopping here and hasn't yet

 

More surprising that this latest pastry porter...Shaun is doing a collab with Goose Island. Didn't see that one coming. Oh, the thoughts of him teaching them how to make a great pastry stout are going through everyone's heads.

 

This should be fun.

I went to Printers Row and got a 2-pack of Pressed. The guy in front of me got the last 4-pack of the IPA, and I was there probably 15 minutes after they posted. They still had some Old School Hawaii Vibes though, so that was a nice consolation prize.

 

Wow, I didn't even notice OSHV...just got the P3 and bolted. Probably good I didn't see OSHV, as I told myself I wasn't buying any this time around so I can cut back...but probably would've pulled the trigger in the heat of the moment.

 

How's the beer? Curious to hear whether it's worth tracking down.

 

If they have any Hop Butcher available after the release day, they put it in the back in the coolers. They had Boss Tweed left too. I stood there looking back and forth between OSHV and Boss Tweed and eventually settled on OSHV. The 9.5% or whatever Boss Tweed is scared me off. If I'm going to drink something that strong, it had better be dark and have some kind of candy or baked good in it.

 

Tasted exclusive, with notes of hard-to-get.

Nice FOMO on the finish.
