The bitter, herbal and grassy notes are heightened here.

I flew back from Milwaukee yesterday. The night before I was walking around the city and came across a venue with the following names on the marquee: Buddy Guy and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Some lineup! Have seen KWS. Not Buddy Guy. Need to get on that!

Is this a David Gilmore solo track or Baroness??? wow The last track on the new baroness albumn and what a tune. I'd take a whole albumn of this.

Number four ba. Darnold looks legit and the Jets O might really be something this year. Defense might be a year behind but they've got some major players. Hopefully they get healthy in the cornerback position soon. Revis checks out of retirement?

Bruery Terreux Oude Tart - Raspberries. 2017 vintage. This was amazing. Fantastic fluffy head retention/soapy lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of huge sour/tart/tangy red raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, plum, cherry, cranberry, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, toasted oak, peppercorn, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread malts; lighter notes of raisin, fig, date, roast, leathery/musty/lacto funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and yeast/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation/body. A bit crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/grainy malts, lactic acid, and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy/tannic dryness; no puckering sourness. Super smooth, not overly lactic, minimal warming 7.7%. Amazing balance of super juicy/jammy raspberries, Brett/Lacto complexity, and oak barrel presence; with a great dark/bready malt backbone against acidity. Mild residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy/tannic drying. Truly beautiful for a Flanders red ale, spot on style. 4.38

That would have my head spinning in a circle. Like 360 degrees around, and around and around and around!

    Some session!

Have to try one, in a 500 ml bottle and imo superior in every way to the HP I had over the weekend. Thick creamy head, malt upfront but it’s not over bearing ( I’m Malt sensitive) , but just enough hops at the end to make for a great finish. This I would buy again the HP no way.

If there were more Brut IPAs like this the style wouldn’t have been such an extremely short-lived fad. But then again I really dig IPLs too.
