Where would MDb6 be in getting a Carpathian or a Black Magick (blue, red, silver)? 1:1? Plus on the MDb6? I've tried to research it and feel like they could be close, but at the same time I also feel like I could be way off, just not sure where those are going now days.

 

For some of the black Magicks you will need two MDb6 to close. For bourbon carpathian, you are close 1:1.

Would FO + NC be able to land a rare 15 or am I way off?

 

I think that's about right there, maybe some extra cans of hops or canned stout should close it.

 

Unless NC is approx. 2x FO, with how plentiful FO was this year, I would expect that ‘you’ would need to add something.

Last year, this might have been the case, but I don’t think this is the case this year.

This is coming from someone who is about to make a post looking to acquire 1 or 2x Rare, and believes the value to be higher.

 

Looking for possibly another LPK '15. Last time I was able to get it with BAA '18 but had to go international. If I wanted to land one in the US thoughts on Maman '18 + Carpathian '19 for LPK '15? Seems like these are getting harder to land. Any thoughts are appreciated.

 

FWIW I would not trade a rare '15 for FOb5 and NCb2. Would have to sub out for a different bottle logic or add.

 

Why is LPK substantially more than LPF?

 

Yeah FO is too easy to get ahold of for anyone still hanging onto a Rare and still in the game. NC might get some looks but might need multiples. I also have an NC so I'd pass. Unless they do another hilarious surprise drop, Rare bottles out there aren't growing...

Been trying a while for an LPK...no idea what it will take at this point. When was the last release?

 

Rare 2015 is going for $100-125 secondary, it might be better to buy it then trade the NC and fo and another bottle for it.

 

Also curious any way a Fou Foune would lure a Clover into beginning trade talks? Seems like Samuel has surpassed Clover by a lot, but Clover is still quite strong.

 

A lot has to do with frequency of releases. There was a very small LPK 15 sticker release last year (1pp for people at Quintessance), and before that I think LPK 13 sticker was sold togo for a single day. The last LPK that had any sort of larger release I believe was in 2015. LPF on the other hand has been released every year, including an online sale in 2018 which put it in the hands of many Americans. On top of that, I personally find LPK to be the better and more balanced beer.

I think this would be tough, think you may need either a vert of fou, or some other nice seasonals. Clover B2 is now trading higher than B1. I've seen trades for it in the two VRU range. Samuel sitting around three at the moment.

Think it was 2018 release with 2015 label.

I do think you need to switch out the FO for something a little more limited.

 

I think it could/would be enough to entice someone. Full disclosure, I don’t dabble in secondary and have no idea of prices. I’ve enjoyed Clover the couple times I’ve had it, but I really like Fou and something paired with it, I would probably part with a clover (don’t have one currently). As for Samuel and Clover, I had both this year and much preferred Samuel. I would take much more to move that bottle.

 

I didn't want to be the first to say it, but yeah... this is a quintessential case where secondary isn't all that far off but it has no chance at happening due to the availability of one end and scarcity on the other.

 

Clover moves at about 3x Fou, so I don't think this would be anywhere near enough to get started (I say this as someone who has Fou FT and would love to try Clover).

Might sound weird but I have a rare that I wouldn't trade for NC and FO. I also have FO and NC and wouldnt trade it them for a rare.
