Last week I went to VT with my wife, went to the Alchemist and HF to stock up, and all was good. Then we had dinner at the Prohibition Pig nearby, and I'm looking at the tap list thinking, "Why are most of the taps from some place called Lawson's?"

Yeah, so I didn't know last week who Lawson's were, and I am kicking myself now that I didn't know it was a Lawson's night there and try a boatload of his beers. I've since learned the error of my ways.

What's your story? Ever walk past a liquor store only to find out the next day that they had been getting rid of an overstock of Darkness? Kicking yourself after deciding not to buy that weird looking beer called Framboos when you were on a business trip 10 years back?

More than beer, this happens to me with music... like when Sleater-Kinney became my favorite band 3 weeks after they broke up. GAH

Partridge in a Pear Tree, it was on every shelf in So Cal for at least 6 months, wasn't really interested in the beer at the time.
I'm still not interested in the beer, but I sure could get some beers that I am interested in with the trade value of that one, had I picked any up way back when.

I'm certain that there is somebody, or a group of people that have A LOT of it. It all dissapeared really quickly once it was apparent The Bruery was gonna be something special and the 12 days of Christmas would be the next Stone

I totally slept on the release of Backwoods Bastard. Made up for it with a bomber of Bolt Cutter today. As far as music missed, my time machine would take me straight back to '89 to see Metallica play the Seattle Coliseum.

I could have bought any or all of the 750s in Shorts original Imperial series on a visit there almost 6 years ago. But I was still young in terms of craft beer wisdom...

Founders dinner at Milltown in Carrboro, NC, which featured reasonably-priced pours of KBS vintages, CBS, CBH, FBS vintages and more.

actually, just last night, founders had a tap takeover at a bar in Ann Arbor. I'm already pretty sad that I didn't go.

I could have purchased multiple bottles of Cantillon 50N 4E off the store shelf locally a few years ago but the 25$ price tag was way too steep. UGH.

No, I did ~300 miles a day. I didn't start travelling when it was first released.

Should have bought and brought back some more Russian River beers when I was visiting Oregon (live in Texas). Damnation and Supplication were amazing.

I didn't go to the store last night to pick up Enjoy By out of sheer laziness. Went this morning and was told they ran out last night. WTF?

Beervana in Rhode Island 2 months ago. I had no one to go with and didn't want to drink by myself so I missed out on trying KBS, BCBS, Utopias and more limited, hard to find stuff...

My work had a 2010 Lou Pepe Cantillon for $25 in the stock room for months. I kept telling myself I should buy it but I would always delay. Finally, a day or two before payday I decided I would pull the trigger. Nope. Customer name-dropped the beer and it was sold.

The only beer miss I can think of is not getting into it sooner. It's only been a few years now, but boy can I tell that getting ahold of the stuff I both already like, and want to get ahold of, woulda been way easier even just three or four years ago..

I could have purchased boat loads of Rare after it was released. Even though at the time I had no problem buying cases of $25 per bottle releases, Rare's price tag made me only by a couple.

I know, I was shocked by the "1 per customer" limit at my local bottle shop. (just went on shelves today).
