Could Ska be the next brewery to come to Wyoming? We're getting pretty saturated in Casper but I am up for Modus Operandi!

 

Brewery crawl tomorrow. Visit all 3 breweries, get your card stamped, and you enter into a drawing for free beer for a year from the brewery of your choice. That's cool.

 

I was at Liquor Shed yesterday and was speaking to our beer guy aboot the enclosed 6packs and how some aren't dated. I mentioned Stone.

He showed me dating on a few he pulled.
Ha, the Go To was canned in January and best by April! He pulled 4 6packs but left 1. I asked him why? Apparently, the distributor will only buy back beers by the case.

Ska will be in town Friday. Neat setup. There will only be drops every 3 months. Should keep things fresh.

I will see how big of a drop is made or my last sentence could be revoked.

Skull Tree Brewing has a new Stout. Excellent it is. Party in the Back.

There was a brewer with Weldwerks there, Corey. I found out that there was a connection between him and Casper...very interesting.

 

A few beers showed up from Walnut River Brewing in Kansas. I bought the IPA and it's a well balanced IPA.

 

I just got the word that a 4th brewery is anticipating opening in Casper in April of 2020 so, aboot a year from now.

I saw some cans from Snake River...new designs on Zonker and Pale Ale. They look kinda generic to me but surely they must be super fresh.

Bought a 6pack of Walnut River Teter-Rock Kolsch. My, it's so good!!

 

I spoke to one of the managers at Old Chicago and he said that the Weihenstephaner beers will be arriving a week late.

 

Jacob, the beer guy who elevated Liquor Shed to incomparable heights, is leaving Casper for Montana. Good luck to him!

 

I'm going to visit Sheridan tomorrow. Been too long since I got out of town. I'll see what Luminous and Black Tooth are up to. Maybe Coal Creek Tap...
