I had these back to back to yesterday.

Different flavor profiles, but I prefer The Standard. Urquell has a unique taste to it that's hard to describe. Might be a sort of caramel-type sweetness to it. The hop bite on the finish was similar in both beers though. Perhaps a slightly creamier mouthfeel to the Urquell as well. This wouldn't be the case though if I had The Standard on draft at the brewery. Of course, it probably wouldn't be the case if I had Urquell on tap in Plzeň either.

And both were certainly a pleasure to drink.

Well fuck, wish I knew this this past weekend.

Would have rather paid $12 for this, rather than >$13 for a 16 oz. draft of Whirlpool at the Encore. And then nearly $14 for a 16 oz. draft of Corona Premier (I wanted something light and have never tried it) at the sports bar there.

We can the Standard four times a year, and always have it on draft at the Salem tap room. Some kegs hit distro once in a while but not often. It's not the most practical beer to can, as we really can't charge what is required. So we take a hit a few times a year as we love it and want to share it. Also, it only hits distro in greater Boston and north of Boston as we don't can much of it. Thanks for the good words everyone.

That's why I can't find it! I will send you my address, and napkin with the amount/per six pack I am willing to pay and then lets see if it is "what is required" Mind sharing the next time you plan to can it?

have not had boss tweed yet, but m43 is excellent. i would actually rate it a little bit higher than DDH pseudo sue that i had yesterday.

Yup. Had a couple of glasses on Saturday and felt the same. Eyes closed, an outstanding maple stout that wasn’t driven by hype for me since I’d had it before.

Got a 4pk of DDH psuedo sue at Yankee Spirits in Swansea. Tbh it's good but not great. Pales in comparison to the DDH FPPA from a couple years ago.

Been enoying copper legend and sip of sunshine more this long weekend.

Not sure when it was released by seeing Troegs Nimble Giant on shelves. Says best by 10/11/19 so probably been out for a bit but it's tasting great. One of the yearlies I buy every year.

Picked up the Voll Projekt Festbier today.

It was difficult to get back into my car due to the size of my erection.
