I sincerely doubt people are going to bitch and moan about someone getting several bottles of something if it's readily available. Most people here know that cherry rye is going to be very hard to find and don't like it when someone gloats about having eight bottles.

 

Posting a pic is gloating - got it. Here's an idea if you can't find it on the shelf - trade for it. All I see is jealousy, no gloating.

 

I have no problem with the guy taking 2 causing me to get zero.
That is not an egregious amount.
An acceptable amount is all subjective, my acceptable amount is clearly less than yours.

i got shut out of cherry so far. you underestimate chicago and the limitedness of cherry. coffee should not be that bad though. if he had eight bottles of coffee i don't think people would be jumping down his throat nearly as much. keep in mind that binnys lincoln park has one case of cherry.

on the plus side i've been fortunate enough to pick up a coffee, bolt cutter, firestone xvi and firestone xv since tuesday, and especially fortunate enough to have a wallet to support such a habit.

 

I'm just shocked any store let you buy more than 1 Cherry!! Limit one of everything at every store I hit

 

I'm going to be driving all around Chicago Friday/Saturday with the hope of finding one bottle.

 

I hope that Coffee actually makes it to Wisconsin this year, unlike last year. Just one would be nice, though I'm not holding my breath on Cherry at all.

 

Are you willing to subsidize those of us who try to find a bottle and fail?

Just saying - that's a very bold statement to make given that the number of beer geeks in Chicago who want this stuff is probably greater than the total bottle count the area will get.
