Since I live almost exactly halfway between the two, I feel that I'm uniquely qualified to answer this question!

Nine times out of ten, River Roost.

River Roost has the added bonus of Big Fatty's Crowler pit for retail purchases and the tap list in the restaurant next door. If you have time to grab a pint, they have one of the best tap lists in the state that even compares to the Waterbury/Stowe/Montpelier/Burlington options

Can you buy any amount of cans or are they 4-packs?

4 Packs, but not sure if they will sell singles. I have not seen someone ask. The number of 4 packs per beer you can buy varies. Sometimes 2 per person and sometimes up to a case.

An argument to make against River Roost, is if OP is fond of lower abv offerings. Of course, this would be dependent on the route, and if the inclusion of Honest Weight is convenient to Brick & Feather. Otherwise, River Roost, which seems to have a stellar list as of current

Someone at work was nice enough to gift me a can each of Glimpse and Mas Verde. Glimpse was one of the best IPAs I'd ever had and was right there with the top TH whalez. Ever since then I wanted to get some more from RR and this is probably the only time in the foreseeable future that I'll be anywhere near it.

In that case, prioritize the trip around RR, but don’t short yourself on Hill’s liquid gold while up that way

If you're coming up 91, they're not so far off the highway that you couldn't do both Brick & Feather and River Roost.

Never even heard of them but it is right on the way. Damn, already making 5 stops.

Not sure if it'll work as we're leaving in the morning and they won't be open when we drive by. Plan on hitting RR right at open so we have enough time to enjoy HF since they close so damn early

Just got confused, as originally thought you were the one who proposed the question between B&F or RR, given the reply…now just realizing that was @youngac

Consequently, that Honest Weight suggestion probably felt out of place

I'm excited to grab some of these. Sounds like an interesting combo. Does anyone know what they mean by ...The Moon Will Fall?

How long do these type of releases usually last?

The Soaked in Sin bottles (B1 and B2) have been available for at least 3 weeks. No idea if this has a similar bottle count.
The last few Rhythm of the Nights lasted at least a couple weeks based on my memory.

I swung by for the first time last Friday afternoon. I picked up Mas Verde, MoRilla, and Strong Suit in cans. I had a pour of Glimpse. Holy cow this beer is good!
So glad it is still low key. Walked right in with only two other people there.
It is so weird to me that places that have worse beer than this have people lined up for can releases but I can stroll right into a place like this no problem.
As an awesome bonus, a woman there was coming from Foam and she gave me two cans of Experimental Jetset because I had never had it.
    Great day!

Agreed. Heard of RR for the first time last year and strangely a couple days later someone gave me 2 cans. Glimpse blew my mind

Gonna be going here in a couple weeks, any great bottle shops in that area? I've seen Crowler Pit mentioned, and I'll be in Woodstock and saw Woodstock Beverage. Anywhere else? Especially places that sell single cans.
