Not able to indulge just yet but can’t wait to tap into my newly bought Double Two Hearted. Should pair well with a Browns win..

Late start again this morning...in addition to the 2 dogs, cat, and fish we are sitting for our friends, we were charged with a 2 week old kitten abandoned by its mother a few days before the hurricane:



To to honest, Mrs. Z has done all the work, but after a week of feedings every 3 to 4 hours, and a hurricane just missing us, she’s exhausted, and I’m doing what I can to pick up the “bottle baby” slack...all animals/fish have been fed/medicated, and dogs walked....everyone is now sound asleep...time for Daddy to start his day - World Wide Stout (2019):



We have wife’s kin coming over for a bbq today...I’ve got beers for NBS, but we shall see...

Wiseacre Brewing Adjective Animal Imperial IPA




Hazy gold color with white cap and lacing.

Aroma of strong pine supported by citrus.

Taste on entry is heavily malt which is quickly covered over by the pine and citrus hops. Fairly simple flavors that track alongside each other without actually blending together. It tastes and feels like they doubled everything.

 

Had a pour of this last week at a taproom uptown, and it was such a pleasant surprise, even though I'm not usually a fan of the style. Cheers!

 

Hella Ba ... Currently drinking this offering. Not surprised that this is a pretty sweet beer, I may have opened this a little too early in the day. Cheers !
