BCS has arrived

Got my call yesterday from Georges in Merrionette Park for the coffee one...picked up one bottle...just called and they have one bottle left...they only got one case of Cherry- gone.

 

I paid $10.99 for my coffee and $19.99 for my cherry...southside prices!

 

I understand your point. I just don't want this thread to turn into a bitch fest. 8 bottles is not that absurd to me. That is enough to crack one ever 6 months for 4 years to see how it ages. Hes not the guy with 17 cases

only in chicago are people insulted for not taking a day off work to drive around 50 stores to hunt down a bottle of beer.

 

Picked up a bottle at Vas Foremost in Bucktown around 11am. They had 4 left when I left.

 

Like i said before u could of gotten on a list and they would of held it for u till after work

 

and you assume my local store or any stores near me do lists. they don't. the only shop that does that might be in my general path home or around my neighbourhood is binny's grand, and that was filled ages ago. buying eight bottles of a super limited beer like cherry is being quite greedy.

for those of you who don't wind up with a bottle of cherry, maybe it might be worthwhile to buy some tart cherry juice and blend some into a regular bcbs, as there's still a number of places with regular bcbs on the shelf. i know i'll be doing come sunday...

i'll report back on the cherry juice + bcbs blend. and who knows, maybe i'll get lucky at vav's raffle tomorrow.

Try taking dried cherries like you find at Trader Joes and stick them in your BCBS for awhile. Also, french pressing very high quality coffee with BCBS is great as is toasted coconut. This is much easier than folks think and it is damn good. Did I mention there was no chase involved?

 

I know its not avail now, but NG raspberry tart & ba stouts are a total winner. I had a growler of Indignant going south and the addition of rt made it amazing

 

It's a free country. He has every right to to what he wants. And I have every right to call him a douchebag as well.

It's just common sense. If u are going to get that much, have the decency to not beg for attention on a site like this.
