100 dollar plus cases of NEIPA really put a burr in my saddle. Sadly, I really enjoy them, and yes, in case any of you are wondering, I am not ashamed to like them. I also like most other kinds of beer and that doesn't make me special. As a matter of fact, I like just about every form of booze, so I guess I am just a lush complaining about the price of my habits. Maybe it is time to dust of the homebrewing equipment. Then I will feel special!

Adding lactose to every other IPA and stout. As someone who was previously lactose intolerant, I hope this trend dies soon.

The guilt and shame I feel when forking over a $20 dollar bill and only getting a 4 pack in return while the guy behind me holding a 36 pack has his $10 bill out eyeballing me like I'm some kind of idiot...

    Hey now.
Don't know aboot the incomplete reference, but with even Casper's limited distribution, cooler space ran out a few years ago and the mix and match is a great way to try things that one is iffy aboot.

Of course, with them being relatively warm, the best by dates go flying out the window, and the packaged on date becomes more crucial.

I don't reckon that I have been in a beer store where there aren't oodles of beers on the warm shelves, regardless of the style.

    Shrugs.

That Alpine Nelson thread in Pacific where everyone seems to agree that Nelson will never again taste like 2013 but then keeps buying it at every single new release and being disappointed sure feels like it's been going on for about 4 times longer than that...

Yeah, some of the regional threads make 1.5 years look short winded.

ITT: Guy starts thread about how he's annoyed by beer snobs who self-righteously criticize the beer drinking preferences of others. Thread immediately fills with self-righteous, condescending posts criticizing his beer choices--said posters appear to have no self awareness or sense of irony.

    Please don't ever change BA.

How is that ironic? How does it demonstrate lack of self-awareness? Different people are annoyed by different things, and the OP specifically requested that people write what they find annoying about craft beer culture. You find me annoying; I find you annoying. C'est la vie.

I’ll tell you what’s annoying. This:

The same condescending rant - again - disguised as a plea to stop a supposedly reasonable person who’s only fault is making a balanced argument based on same insightful/unique/original thought, being shamed or intimidated into silence. L. O. L.

secondary market. People buying beer just to flip it. Goes against the spirit of beer. Secondary valuations can be useful to determine fair trade value for beers but I really hate how much beer is resold

People that cry to a brewery to 'do something about line cutting' because, although they are 6 feet tall and 240 pounds of tattooed manliness, they are too scared to say anything themselves...........

If I don't like a beer, I am not going to drink it. Hell, if I go to a bar or brewery and they don't have anything on that I want, I am not obligated to drink it.

Could you post a TL;DR of this? Because not a lick of it makes sense.

This whole thread is people bashing lagers, bashing NEIPAs, bashing those that bash those things, and basically just a shitshow of a thread that should be deleted immediately.

We get it, everyone is annoyed by something.

Go drink a beer and get over it.

I think this is the part where I'm supposed to come in and bitch about how distributors and the chain stores are screwing independent retailers. Then I complain about neckbeards and their all or nothing culture, then I leave with a Monty Python quote.

“I’d like to complain about people who constantly hold things up by complaining about people who complain. It’s high time something was done about it!
