Bend Brewing released a FH Harvest Pale today (Centennial). The FH character is present but it’s all on the green/vegetal side and no fruitcup. Still a good freshie.

I think I saw on their schedule that the first one (Simcoe/Centennial) is out next week

Allegory’s !!!FRESH PINTS!!! is the rare (in my experience) example of sour and FH elements harmonizing. Grab it if you see it.

I had a Rooftop fresh hop yesterday that was very tasty. I’ve not been a fan of Rooftop til recently. They seem to have kicked it up a notch.

Also, Fremont is releasing their first fresh hop on draft and crowlers only at the UBG this weekend.

Had a good #freshhopfriday and started with a Bend Brewing FH Pale released today at the brewpub, then swooped up the Two Beers Fresh Hop (only hit Bend this week) and an Allegory FH sour beer that managed to balance the delicacy of the fresh hops and the sharpness of the acid. Ended up visiting Crux for a follow-up of the Pert Near (still skunky, still fruitcup-y).

Every year I am so stoked for FH season and give Two Beers a chance early on.

    No mas.

Am at Belmont Station trying fh stable genius, pert near and Breakside's fresh gold. Not hugely impressed with the gold or pert near, but the stable genius is amazing. Incredibly dank, resinous and fresh. Incredible fresh hop aroma and flavor. Was not a big fan of Level's previous fh efforts, but they knocked it out of park with the SG.

Now at Breakside Milwaukee, drinking a glass of fh simcoe ipa. Quite good. Prefer the fh stable genius, but this is quite tasty.

I picked up a couple pre-filled crowlers of Fremont’s Never Let Go, which is an amarillo fresh hop version of Summer Ale, at the UBG on the way home from Reuben’s Seventh Anniversary. Only $6 a crowler, too! I’ll report back later tonight.

Agree completely with your assessment of FH Stable Genius. So much better than the other Level fh beers I tried this year it's hard to believe they're all from the same brewery.

I’m not a big hazy fan (as I tend to point out all the time), but I gave the FH Stable Genius a shot earlier today and was impressed! The Pert Near has a weird spearmint flavor that I didn’t care for. Glad I gave the hazy a chance, though.

Today’s NFL-fueled Fresh hop adventures have included both Zoiglhaus and Level FH Oktoberfests. I enjoyed both, Zoiglhaus being a better Oktoberfest and Level making better use of the hops.

Baerlic FH Punk Rock Time is leading the way by a good margin thus far for me. Delicious beer. Went to NSM for eggs and walked out with delightful fresh hops. Beautiful.

Never Let Go was good - and a steal at only $6 a crowler. I had never had a single-hop amarillo before, so I struggled to describe the experience, but it seemed citrusy in the nose and floral on the palate. It won't win any fresh hop competitions, but I'm happy I picked up two crowlers because I found it interesting despite being just a single-hop pale. Worth a try if you see it.

Oh, you'll be changing your tune next Aug/Sept. I say the same thing every year but can't resist once I see the words 'fresh hop' on a taplist w/ no other fresh hop options...

Well, finally (almost). Boundary Bay has a FH Citra in the kettle as I type. Will report back in 10-14 days.

Tempted to grab some cans but honestly, I only need one can so I'll wait for distribution later in the week.

ISO: 1 can of FH Crikey
    FT: Whatever one can costs

I feel that way about every beer that comes in cans. I don't care if my beer comes in a can or bottle, but bottles were generally sold individually and cans are sold in packs.

I will make an exception for Fresh Hop Crikey and take a four-pack.
