Focal and heady are available at the brewery in Stowe at open EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK. If you get there within the first few hours that they are open, it’s a guarantee.

I was there around 3:00 pm three Fridays ago and they still had both.

So I just realized I'll be there on the same day as the "Heady Trotter" charity race. Does this event impact how crowded the brewery gets?

Was at the Trotter last year and it’s much more crowded the day of the race since runners (and friends) are chilling and enjoying morning-IPAs (which are the best IPAs) after the run. Our crew left after a couple hours and the crowd had slimmed down a bit. Just be prepared if you go earlier in the day but should be fine later in the afternoon.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, this is not possible for our schedule which stinks but I’m used to the TH chaos so it might not be so bad. We have a tour booked for 11 and then planning on getting cans and maybe a pour and then heading off to Burlington

Kenny's Kolsch is a new favorite of mine. Grabbed cans of that over Heady on my last visit. Good Summer beer!

Is everything still $12.50 per 4pk? Been a while since I've been and will be headed up this week.

The $12.50 doesn't include tax/deposit so it ends up being like $13.25/4 pack which is still a bargain. Don't skip the cheddy topper either, its delicious.

So seriously, how screwed am I for being there on this Heady Trotter race day? Will it be peak Tree House Saturday crowd status?

I would think you will be fine. The race crowd will be hanging out, not retail line. I have never had an issue getting a sample or the small pours they do.
The busiest I have ever seen (second day facility open) I waited about 75 minutes to get through the line. I was there about 5 times this past summer and never waited more than 10 minutes.

Anyone else get some of that Jazz fest session beer? Buddy brought me two cans. What an awesome 4.4% beer. Supposedly it’s a dry hopped Kenny’s Kolsch or Kenny’s Kolsch blended with a dry hopped beer.

Would love to crush something that good on the reg.

Hey all, New Yorker coming to town this weekend. Are there any decent sport bars where they will have multiple games on (Jets fan...)? I know the Pats and Jets both play at 1 so your Patriots will be on everywhere, but trying to find a sports bar to watch the Jets.

You won't find much in Stowe. The Reservoir in Waterbury is usually my go-to to watch Football on Sunday. They should have the Pats on a large projector screen and may have additional games on the smaller TV's. Doubt any bars around there pay for NFL Sunday Ticket though...

Yo, Luscious is literally one of the best stouts I've had and if you want to add adjuncts to the beer yourself (i.e. maple syrup or what not), you have a phenomenal base for it. Heck, you could simulate the BBA with a little bit of bourbon for starters.

One of the few beers where I liked the base beer better than the one BBA. Mostly because Luscious is just so awesome without the BBA.

And heady topper wings (or at least they used to)! Their website says they have Sunday Ticket by the way.

Seems like Luscious has been available every day for the last 2 months so I’m really hoping to score some cans when I get up there. Wouldn’t mind some other stout drops.

Any good places around Stowe/Burlington that are known for stouts? Most are understandably IPA havens
