Really good. Melon, white pepper, tropical fruit, citrus. I will say this is the first double ipa I’ve had from them where I got noticeable alc on the finish, but I’m chalking it up to being canned 24 hours prior to drinking. Such a unique hop.

I think this landed in the wrong court - the limit for Flora is 3 per person per release. Not per day! This is how it's been for as long as I've been going to HF for any of their limited release bottles, so regardless of the verbiage on the website, unless someone can positively confirm otherwise, you can't go every day and buy 3 more Floras each day! Or even twice during the entirety of the b8 release - this is why they require credit card purchases for these bottles (so make sure you don't just bring cash!).

Thanks, but not sure why you’re replying me. That was the info I passed along and how I’ve always understood it as long as I have been going. I was corrected by donfrap regarding it on page 26. You can take it up with him.

So if I understand them correctly, any bottles that they list a limit for would be classified as "highly limited releases. Any other release that isn't an ongoing release (Anna, Arthur, Dorothy Florence, Everett, Earl, George, etc) wouldn't have a limit, but would require photo ID and a credit card to purchase. Any ongoing release can be paid for with cash, gift card or credit.

"Per day" didn't seem to be an issue for M&C12, unless @parg0 got lucky...

It is per day. If it is per release, it is explicitly stated on their bottle release site. It states "per release." Only bottles that have been such recently have been Damon, Clover, Samuel.

I was told the exact opposite when I bought CD 26 a few weeks ago - only 3 total for the duration of the release, and that's always been my understanding for limited release bottles including those three you mentioned, as well as CDs, fruited Floras, Vera Mae, E., etc., but excluding Arthur, Dorothy, Anna, etc. - no limits on those bottles. I hope I'm wrong; it would certainly clear up a huge misconception (and wallet depletion opportunity) if so. Cheers!

right from the bottle announcement for clover

"Please visit our bottle release page, http://hillfarmstead.com/bottle-release, for bottle limits and pricing information. Credit card and matching ID required for this bottle. Please note: to accommodate as many people as is fairly possible, this bottle is limited to 1 bottle per person for the duration of the release—not per person per day.⁣"

all other bottle releases recently say

"Visit our Retail Shop page for bottle limits and pricing information (credit card and matching ID required)"

    From https://hillfarmstead.com/faqs/
"For certain highly-limited releases, bottle limits are per person per release, not per person per day. If this is the case, we will note it in the release information."

I have gone back and purchased additional allotments of those beers you mentioned, as long as it is a separate day.

Anyone going up this Saturday? Heading up their solo in the morning, looking to split an onsite bottle.

Yeah I verified this both before I went and while I was there. My understanding is allotments will be clearly marked "per release" if they are to be limited in such a way, and any other "per person" allotments can be acquired each day you visit.

Aren't all seasonal beers supposed to be double IPA's? Looking at you Treehouse.

Intentionally, or unintentionally, I think you just shed some light on what separates HF from the rest of the pack.
