    Festbier is not for sale at the taproom until 9/22 (Oktoberfest), but it is in stores. Their instagram has a post for the Bellwoods collab, but that it is being released up there this week. No mention of anything locally.

    I heard a while back that they were considering an Allston/Brighton location. Have no idea whether that is what came to fruition.

    I would LOVE if their second location was closer to Boston. I'd go at least once a month.

    If the new location is less than 30 minutes from me (as opposed to the 60 minutes Salem is), then my life will be enriched.

    Given that I work on the Brighton/Allston line, this is fabulous news because I've been desperately wanting to visit their Salem location but haven't been able to - just hard for me to get up there.

    I live and work A/B and still try to make it up to the Salem location once a month or so. This area has a major deficit of actual breweries to go with the killer beer bars that are all over. If Notch opens up here, it would be an awesome move.

    Any speculation on where it could be?

    Beer boner alert: Picked up a four-pack of Festbier today. I think they're still cleaning up the mess I made.

    Did I need beer? I did not, but I was next door grabbing propane. Figured what the hell.
