I didn’t want to commit to writing it.

    So I get it.

Driving with a Notch erection is harder than one might think.

Looks like Allagash Truepenny is starting to pop up. Landed at CBC Newton yesterday.

It kind of happened by accident.

    The pun, not the erection.

    The City Seabrook NH.

6 different Prairie Stouts gathering dust. Untouched for weeks.

    KBS mixed 4pks. 1 each of 16,17,18 & 19.

Craft beer world moved on from here I suppose.

Oxbow Luppolo 4pks too, which is nice

I enjoy the Praire stouts, but the price point is too high

Same here. With the exception of paradise. Hate coconut in beer.

Just interesting to see how some folks have moved on from beers that were hugely desirable and sought after. Now I can grab them in my local red neck place that sells $4 packs of smokes and chewing tobacco by the sack load, and I don’t have to chase them, they’re there for months on end.

I had this conversation with one of my sales reps when he asked how many cases of Founders CBS I wanted. I said I get to choose? Production started ramping up on them like years ago when they were highly sought after, now I have 5 cases of KBS I cant move because everyone "has had it already"

Why anyone would spent that $15 on one Prairie stout and not a Luppolo four pack is crazy to me. Well, I suppose they aren't spending that $$ on Prairie.

And Founders has bigger issues than people moving on.

I'm always curious about the business side of things... with limited stouts in particular, is it a problem that they don't move too quickly? Can you simply throw the unsold bottles in the cellar and bring them out next year as a vintage to sell side by side with the new release?

And can't you kind of get away with selling them for a higher price point (even if the "cellaring" is just in a box in the store office)?

I actually swung in last Friday and bought a bottle each of the Pirate Bomb and Pirate Noir, $10.99 each. I remember trading for Pirate Bomb a long time ago and it being one of my favorite beers of the year, so it'll be interesting to see how it still stands up.

I once heard a saying that goes "Show me a super model, I'll show you someone that's tired of f***ing them".

They definitely don’t move as quickly or simply now we can get as much as we want. I have 7 cases of KBS, in the past it was 1-2 cases if I was lucky. Over saturation on certain ones play into it as does the fickle clientele who have had it and now their onto the next one they haven’t had or is new

Has anybody seen Double Two Hearted on the shelves in MA yet? Or know if we will be getting any? I know Bell's distro is patchy here, but I'm hoping to nab some of this beer.

Thanks. I'm in Central Mass. Knowing that it's in the state, I'll give Julio's a call. Haven't seen it at my locals.
