2019 Founders Releases

also announcing last year of cbs hence building absurd hype -- dammit founders!!

 

I'd say the Barrel Aged Series of Backwoods Bastard, KBS, Mas Agave, Underground Mountain Brown and CBS is a pretty killer lineup. I finally had Mas Agave a few weeks back and thought it was great. I know things like BB, KBS and CBS don't get hype anymore, but they are certainly still very good beers IMO.

 

Still wondering where the pilsner is.

 

I had it on tap last week in the city. Haven't seen it in cans...although I haven't really been looking.

 

It'll be back when they clear inventory of the 750ml CBS's shelf turding it up...

 

It's been available up here for a few weeks now.

 

Last week, my SE MI local told me they were expecting it this week.

 

15pks at all the Meijer stores here on MI, has been at least a week or two.

 

Has anyone in the Chicagoland are seen Underground Mountain yet? I asked about it at Binny's in Algonquin yesterday and they said they should have had it in by now but haven't received any.

 

It just hit MI shelves late last week, so I'm not surprised that it may take a little bit longer to get to us. I hope a good amount hits our stores - it was delicious when I had it on tap a couple years ago.

 

Pretty healthy supply everywhere I’ve seen it in the Detroit area.

Founders Oktoberfest next mothership release..

 

Has anyone here had this in the past? I don't recall seeing it in the taproom. Yay or nay?

 

Not sure if it's the same recipe (might've been a pilot version), but the only Oktoberfest I remember them having was Munich Man ca. 2012. It was really good.

 

CBS pickups in Detroit/GR 10/25-27, ticketed (Eventbrite), 3 case / 6 12 pack limit ($72 per 12 or $144 per 24 plus fees)
Tickets on sale tomorrow for Cadre and 13th fro anyone

 

I think it's for Mug Club members tomorrow, not Cadre members.

This stuff will flood Chicago....

 

But will be priced here at $20 a bottle and then sit on shelves next to the $30 750ml of CBS from previous years still in the area.
