Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2019

Serious stuff, and I hope everything is cool, but I'm getting a chuckle thinking about what "threatened by beer nerds" might look like.

 

I think it (threatened by beer nerds) should be the name of the next NEIPA release from a Twin Cities Brewery.

 

Happened to be having lunch at the Nova today and Casanova liquors had double two hearted, just dropped this afternoon.
I won't be able drink for the next couple weeks after this weekend so I'm glad I found it since stores here wont have it this weekend.
Just posting since a few people have been asking about it.
They also had 3F a&g, that's not three floyds.

 

Devine in River Falls also has it.

Are you kidding me? I have around a hundred of these things I have been saving for no particular reason. Free pints at modist would be crazy awesome!

 

Bent Paddle used to do this. Not sure if they still do. But I think a free pint was 10 or 12 plastic can holders.

Double Two Hearted is at Casanova's in Hudson. They had 3-4 cases on the floor near the register when I was there around noon.

 

New coming out from Schells:
Say hello to our newest beer, Fort Road Porter! Taking the place of Fort Road Helles for the colder seasons, this brew has flavors of chocolate and caramel while leaving room for the roasted malts to make their appearance. I'm really looking forward to Schell's new Porter. I hope it has some roasty notes like in the Schell's description above although the can says it's an English-Style Brown Porter which usually means there won't be any roasty notes so I'm a little confused.

 

Any new word on Bell's Double Two Hearted in the Minneapolis metro? Ideally the Central or NW metro? I was at Casanova Sunday and there was none left.

Wavy from BlackStack dropped today at Liquor Barrel in St. Paul - really nice beer!

 

I found available Bell's Double Two Hearted at Total Wine Bloomington today. Because I ordered online I don't know how much inventory is at the store.

 

Saw several 6 pks of Bells Double 2Hearted at TW Bloomington, and singles on the shelf plus some Stagg Jr at the front desk.
