Just told Houston area might be 3-4 weeks before delivery. Hope it isn't too limited, one of my normal CA places to buy only got 1 case this year for some reason when they were expecting 4-5. Hoping my hookup here in TX comes through with a case for me.

Houston got this around early-to-mid December last year if I remember correctly. Hoping that this years is better than last years tobacco bomb

Fresh, I will agree with that, to the point that I did not want to hold on to the bottles. Though I just had an '11 a couple of weeks ago, and it was phenomenal. Everything was so well integrated and well rounded. I would highly recommend opening one now.

I hope this hits in numbers as big as XXIV, but fear it'll be hoarded hardcore. In 1 year it'll go from a beer that lasted a few weeks to one that lasts 1 day.

My father-in-law had 4 of these sitting on the shelf - so I made him bust one out yesterday.

keep working on him. When I met my father-in-law in 1992, his fridge was stocked with Coors light. lol. After getting him to the local micro brewery a couple of times, he started to come around. I remember a few years ago when he said to me something to the effect of...."I really only want to drink imperial stouts". I think his favorite now is Mephistopheles, but his go to is Black Butte porter.

My store will get it next week...I think. Maybe the week after that. As soon as my distributor gets it, I'm getting it! I'm in Fort Worth, work at a store in Westlake.

Promises are a dime a dozen in the world of distribution. Keep asking and fighting for it, but this threads about verifiable proof of it landing.
