    Modern times Space Ways. Hazy Nelson IPA 6.7%. I'm not a huge fan of hazy ipas or Modern Times but I like this. I haven't had a lot of Nelson ipas but t I know what Nelson hops taste like from Alpine. This has that same hop flavor but without the Rye and that Alpine dank bitterness. Space Ways is better than expected, I'm kinda impressed but Alpine is better easily.

    I was there a week and a half ago, and I agree about the beer and food. Both were top notch, though I got to try their Mornin' Delight on tap, which blew my mind.

    One thing surprised me about the town: I wasn't expecting it to be in bluff country. I expected it to be fairly flat, like most of the rest of the state.

    Safe travels to Texas. If you stop in Des Moines, there's a brewery called Madhouse, that's closing up. Might want to check out their offerings, because they're highly rated.

    Modern Times does of good stuff but they always have new beers I can't keep up. I'm never really disappointed but they got a lot off Stuff thats not my style. They always have something good tho.

    They thought they got me by cleaning out the Pliny shelf before I got there. little do they know that blind pig is just as good... And I like it better anyways... Oh and it's .49 cheaper.

    Russian River Blind pig 6.25 %. One of my favorite beer ever. Not saying it's better than Pliny but but it's almost as good. if you've had blind pig you know what I'm saying. It's one o the best IPAs.
