I'm disappointed with SN's overall direction, but that's no surprise considering my posts here. I've been in touch with SN customer service to hopefully get my feedback passed along. For the last couple of years they went from producing solid versions of a number of styles (not just IPAs) to chasing the flavor of the month. I've replaced most SN purchases with other breweries.

The new one is ONLY in club stores (Costco, Sam’s, etc.). It will not be in any other type of retail setting...

For the post you quoted I was referring to The Sampler pack with six different beers that you can get anywhere now, I just picked the pack up the other day. I didn't think that I would be seeing the new one anytime soon because I still saw the older pack in stores but I ended up in a store that had both on the shelf.

I do like hazy little thing but I agree. I used to buy every variety pack(I would kill for more southern hemisphere pack) and now I dont really have a replacement for those. Especially the fall/winter packs.

Well I guess that tells you how well they are selling. I don't even see those beers at my local stores anymore, but even if I saw them for $5.25 a sixer it would still be an easy pass (especially a 12/18 batch, yikes).

Check out Schlafly... they favor traditional styles and do them really well, IMO.

I don't like their Kolsch and it's one of my favorite styles.
Lately I've been subsisting on Jack's Abby, Von Trapp, Montauk, Barrier, and SN here and there.

I still buy Sierraveza, Oktoberfest, Celebration when it comes out, and happy to drink PA and Torpedo if it's in front of me. The rest of the current SN core lineup I have no use for. Wish I could buy Vienna Lager, Ruthless, Tumbler, Kellerwiess, Porter and Stout but those beers aren't in SN's plans I guess.

3 Weight is very good, one of the better Session IPAs I have had.

I totally agree, this beer is great and I wish it could be purchased individually, even just seasonal would be fine with me.

I wondered if it was me or the beer. I like it more, it was the one in the pack I was pretty iffy on but with the new recipe this pack is a perfect fall sampler from them

This thread reminds me it's that time of year I buy SN the most with the fall and winter packs, and.....Celebration! I need to be on the lookout for these fall packs.

I meant roasty but close enough I guess. Anyhow I’m not sure I like this version as much. The roast is a little off-putting.

There is no fall pack this year, just a really nice looking pack for club stores. Which I cannot buy I guess.

you can buy booze at costco without a membership if there's one near you. You just need to go to customer service and tell them you just want to buy alcohol

Not bad, yet sad to not see their grand Coffee Stout in the mix ...

Every liquor store near me still has the underwhelming and now not-very-fresh sampler pack with Sidecar in it. None of these nice sampler packs full of Vienna, Coffee Stout, and Ruthless Rye people are seeing elsewhere. Disappointing!
