If it was going to be super limited, I doubt they would have announced early and at both locations as you said. I’m betting these are pretty large batches and will be multiple pp and no need to be there before 11:45 or so unless you’re wanting to bottle share or have to make a quick exit after 12:00 so want to be early in line.

 

Base on previous releases....any idea how much both bottles will be?

so I was joking about the rating editing, and I wish I would've taken screenshots, but I remember the morning vibes rating being 4.61 when I posted that and it's 4.67 now LOL.

 

so more people have tried it and gave it good marks.... I don't understand the problem.

There have been 0 new checkins as the beer has not been available on draft.

 

For someone that doesn't care for adjunct stouts, you sure are concerned about this. Also, who still uses check ins as a legit rating for a beer?

 

The people padding the ratings hope we all do...

The longer a beer has been out and checked in, almost unanimously, the beers rating declines. Especially bigger, rarer limited release hype stouts like these.

 

I don't, but plenty of people do, and values for sales and trading can often be predicated upon that, hence why potentially honest opinions about something that people assumed would be draft-only were suddenly changed when there was a financial incentive.

Trust me, MN people did the same shit with the last forager release, I just think it's funny.

 

I have a feeling I'm going to get shut out tomorrow night. Fuck it. I can still drink it on tap I guess...

 

untappd has to be the most unreliable source for beer and beer ratings.

 

Yeah I picked up on the awhile back when seeing a 2 on ratebeer and 4.5 on untappd. I lol'd

I’m confused and need some clarification. Using your example of BVC, are you suggesting that Ratebeer’s 3 ratings or BeerAdvocates’s 6 ratings are more accurate than Untappd’s 887 ratings. I certainly don’t think Untappd is perfect, but I think the wisdom of crowds helps it in many cases. Particularly newer beers where there are few ratings for BA or RB.
