I was thinking serpant stout, IST '11 and BBQ or some BCBS..sound good? So far this sounds like a sharing of epic proportions...

The epicness is usually when someone has reached a far enough state of inebriation that they say "Fuck it, let's open *insert name of epic beer here*", and that occurs on both days. I know I've tried some pretty cool stuff there, Armand Fall, Brute B1, LeBleu, BCBVS, Supplication, my first KBS, Zombie Dust, a special Troegs beer that I won't go into detail about, Cuir, Melange, Veritas 009, among others.


The generosity of people is amazing. I'm just hoping that the Kentuky Monk this time is as good as the previous release. I don't want to be disappoint because that's the best beer I had fro
Jackie O's last year.

Cellar is pretty bare bones at the moment - probably a Marshal Zhukov and something else that strikes my fancy that morning. Looking forward to a great release though

 

Im bringing myself. That ought to be good enough for somebody!

 

Going to try to pickup a growler of CBC Bohdi or Creeper (both on tap at brewpub according to website as of today). Also have a bottle of the last of the non-farmhouse Jester King Black Metal Stout's and a bottle of Deep Ellum Brewing Dream Crusher 2X Rye IPA and a bottle of Batch 36 Oyster Stout (is drinkng damn fantastic) to play tag along.

Some adds are a couple of 2009 3F Olde Gueze 375mls's, a bottle of 3F Schaerbeekse Kriek, a bottle of fantome saison, a rivertown lambic, and some ghost scorpion hot pepper.

What time is everybody getting down there? I'm thinking about taking a half day just so I can drive down in the beautiful weather!

 

Well I will probably get there thusday night. I usually come a day or two early. Yea I know I'm a real Geek.

 

Bring the Super Nebula. That is my favorite new (to me) BA Imp Stout. Those complex chocolate notes linger forever...

 

I got the growler from Weasel Boy tonight. No hints, although it's something I haven't shared before.

Hey guys, not sure if I'm going to be able to attend. My uncle just passed and his funeral may be on fri or sat. If I come on not, I'm sure it will be a blast.
