SAVAGES (v2) Hints/Hauls

Did you have them back pre-fermentation profile change?
I'd rank 2015 in the bottle pre-canning Congress St. as one of the best. And they are getting close to the previous standard in recent months. (at least on tap, have not bought cans in a while)

 

I have a brother in the hudson valley area also! Haul hint, there might be something from there in my boxes. I have a small sample size from Equilibrium but it's one of my favorites and the only brewery my wife will consistently drink IPAs from (which says a lot)! Color me jealous man.

My ticks have been kind of all over the place with them looking at untappd. Vicinity and Insert Hip Hop Reference There in 18, All 100,000 Trillion, Every Trillion Ever, and Personal Submarine in 19. Also, looking at that list somehow 4 of 5 were collabs haha.

I had chalked it up to hearing about the yeast change and also them losing their head brewer a while back. *shrug* I'd never not drink it if I got it, but it just hasn't been something I search out given my personnal experience.

 

Hint: Target A and I have interacted before.
Hint: Target B and I have not.

Hint #1: Both targets are west of me
Hint #2: I've shipped to one of you before, but not the other
Hint #3: Both targets live in a state with a sportsball team from at least one of the 4 major sports (MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA).
Hint #4: My wife and I took a road trip this August hitting various breweries along the way. We did NOT drive through either of my targets' home state. (Untappd: nichols33)

Haul Hint: I live 45 minutes from a very popular brewery, and my wife works in the next town over from the other very popular brewery in my state. One target will get beers from both brewery, the other target will probably one get beer from one of them.

 

Makes even more sense now. The collabs are rarely anything special.

My wife grew up in the Hudson Valley and most of her family is still there. We visit often, which is nice now with HVB, Suarez, Sloop, etc. etc.

Yeah that's all I've gotten so far it seems, and I didn't even realize it haha.

I've had 2 ounces or so of about 10 HVBs and can confirm they are the shit.

 

Hint--- one of my targets states has a more than 5 Major professional sports teams.
Hint- I have traded or been in a bif with one of my targets before.
Hint-one of my targets has not been in my Can Can bif.

 

No I didn't really get into craft until 2016 have covered a lot of ground since then but Trillium pre-2016 I've never had

Hint #1: My most recent work trip to Boston put me significantly closer to one or more of my targets.
Hint #2: One or more of my targets did not list barleywine as a requested style.
Hint #3: Neither of my targets wears a XXL shirt.
Hint #4: I don't even know if I've BIF'd with my targets before. Is that helpful?
Hint #5: That's probably a lie, but I'm drinking cold medicine and barleywine. Maybe that eliminates someone. Whatever, fuck it. Can I take a nap now?

You are not wrong. I started chasing those big bottles right when I started. They were the best! I agree with you that the last few months have been getting better. I had Storrowed last night and it was fantastic.

Start with the FP series and then Melcher/Congress. Those make my list of always drink if available

I very much enjoyed Storrowed and was surprised but had Headroom few days ago that's a big want it seems and didn't love it
