Well then a lot of people were lying about the line. I was only repeating what people who went there were saying.

The line was long as hell. Shit it took us 2 hours and 25 mins to finish. We usually wrap up in 50 mins to an hour and a half. So nobody was lying about that. The issue comes when people try to geuss how many bottles there are. As is always the case, we always count the line up to the last minute to try to make sure that if you are in the line at the brewery at open, you get an allocation. After that we can't make promises.

Yeah for sure man. I wasn't complaining or anything. I was just relaying the info that others had said earlier in the thread to someone who came in asking for info.

I don't think anyone in this thread thought the release was poorly handled, more so just a fuckton of people that wasn't expected. Based on what I've read about the crowd and everyone that got bottles, you guys did an incredible job. Wish I could have made it out there (or had no remorse and convinced my MIL to sit in line for me)

Apologize if I came off as telling people not to bother going to the brewery. At that point that I said that, I think you guys were sold out already based off your instagram post.

I'm beating a dead horse here, but a massive line was definitely expected.

Been a few months since a big stout release. Awesome time yesterday and so glad “Stout season” in STL is starting!

That was definitely the longest line ive been to at SP and the farthest back ive been arriving at 9 or so. But as usual it was a great time and got to have some tasty beers and see some friends. Maybe next time the people will snake the line in a less confusing way for us/ @Ericstl6 to deal with haha

Had a great time at the release. Absolutely loved Ambiente, but a coffee variant of it is highly unlikely.

The Scribe always seemed weird to me, but I enjoyed Styrbjorn with some age on it.

The Scribe is one of my all time favorite SP beers, and I was also a huge fan of the Perennial/SP collaboration 4 Happiness so can't wait for this one.

I liked Styrbjorn fresh, but wasn't a huge fan of how it aged.

I'm seeing a Black & Wild / Styrbjorn / PN 10 side by side in my near future.

i was wondering the same thing. if it is happening, will it be extremely limited due to a portion going into this blend?

It could be a batch of Scribe that didn't meet or live up to Cory's expectations, so he just used it to make PN10. Kind of like PN5.

had that same thought too. never had scribe but seems like big expectations to live up to based on how much people like it.

They have a label approved for b2. But as said, it could have not come out as planned and was just blended as PN10.
