I can't find a mention of Thousand Lakes Brewing Company in Parkers Prairie in this thread.
    Thousand Lakes Website Facebook

They are in Parkers Prairie, about 15 miles north of Alexandria and have a Blichmann 3.5 barrel brewing system. They are still waiting to get their brewing license and hope for a late November/December opening.
Thousand Lakes has a Kickstarter in progress that has not met its goal yet so spread the word.

Up in Moorhead, Swing Barrel Brewing is now targeting November for an opening date according to a local newspaper article.

That's a great general location, very centrally located in the South Metro, near 35W and 13 and close to 77 and 35E as well (I don't know one way or the other about the actual building). It's arguably even better than Nutmeg's spot a few miles southwest of there and Bald Man's spot a few miles northeast of there, and Bald Man seems to be making a killing despite lackluster beer. That's an underserved area, as the article mentions, especially if when it comes to actually good beer (if Bricksworth is able to achieve that).

    In other BIP news...

I'm told Forgotten Star in Fridley is aiming to begin brewing in mid-October.

Word on the street is Arbeiter in Minneapolis probably is looking at a 2020 opening.

Frontier in Chanhassen is expecting to start its build around December.

It looks like Iffy has a prospective location near 109th Avenue and Central Avenue / Highway 65 in Blaine.

I've got a reliable source telling me there's an unnamed BIP for Stillwater that I don't think yet has been mentioned. It's looking for a building.

Inver Grove Brewing Co in Inver Grove Heights opened to the public on Saturday, 9-21-19, according to its Facebook page. This is the second location of Lakeville Brewing Company in Lakeville (both are brewpubs). It already is serving Inver Grove-branded beer, and I know that it does plan to brew at the new location in addition to the Lakeville location, but I'm guessing that the new brewery isn't yet operating and the beer sources from the Lakeville location.

I messaged Inver Grove Brewing and they are indeed brewing at Lakeville. Hopefully they will announce when they are brewing at Inver Grove.

I wasn't referring to Indeed Brewing. it was lower case indeed.

    in·deed adverb: indeed

The project is still moving forward. The final budget as you might guess it came in high. Even higher than we forecasted. So we decided to pause, take a breath and to look at everything again. Long story short, we are moving forward with an updated plan. The difference this time is we will hold the details until everything is signed. News and details to come before the end of the year.

Thanks for you interest and support.

Birch's Lowertown is for sale. "Turn Key Brewery Twin Cities Minnesota... Turn key brewery installed and ready to brew. Lightly used for 1 year, current existing brewery looking to sell. Located in downtown St Paul, Minnesota. 10bbl brewhouse, 1,500bbl capacity."

That is interesting that they could not make a go of it in Lowertown. Never been to that location. Then again it has been ages since I have been to the Long Lake location since they don't really brew beer I want to drink since I am not into fruited kettle sours, pastry stouts, or hazy. They did brew a hefeweizen that I am sure was great, but can't be bothered to drive that far to try one beer.

The Lowertown location brews fairly straight forward classic stuff. Not that they don’t have trendy stuff.

I attempted to go to Birch's Lowertown today. There website says they ope at 11 on Sunday but were closed. Parking is not good at best. One parking lot for $7 close. Street parking, even on Sunday was difficult to find. Bad location.

Yes, but Barrel Theory 2 blocks away doesn't seem to have a "bad location" problem.

I never really understood why Birch's added a second location in St. Paul. Their Long Lake location seems to do well and I think they brew good beer for the most part.

Within the past year Birch's has started to brew many kettle sour beers which surprises me because their most popular beer by far has always been their Blonde Ale.

I also went Sunday. The sign on the door said they would open at 4 on Sunday and that Saturday was the only day they were open at 11. Perhaps they need to update the website, unless permanent closing is imminent.
