That said, there is only one type of IPA to drink on this occasion, and that would be a Nelson-hopped variety. @MUTINY, my brother from another mother, I am so glad to see you back on this forum that I don't know whether to drink or go streaking.     Clear, pale yellow body; plenty of slowly rising carbonation; decent head, white with a creamy texture and some rings of foam clinging to the glass. Fresh and appealing aroma; cracker; spicy and mildly fruity hop aroma. Clean and refreshing taste; light sense of cereal grain; delicate esters; mild and complementary hop bitterness. Medium body; soft and creamy; nice cross between wet and dry with the mouthfeel.

    A refreshing and full-body lager, delivering some tasty substance yet also coming across as light and refreshing. An excellent beer!

    A very short day at work, but very physical. Had to unload 12 huge crates of pumpkins and gourds at work (two Hispanics, two Anglos)...teamwork! And a lot of sweat...

    Interboro/Sand City collab, 3-1/2 months old (bought it ~1 month ago, been in the fridge since). Never had it before so don’t know the degree to which it’s diminished, but right now it’s very good.

    Drinking another budget brand, this one from Kopparberg/Sofiero. 5.2% abv. This was the best selling beer at the monopoly in Sweden from 2004 (when it was introduced) until last year. The budget price no doubt helped it get to the top. The color is a pale golden. The aroma is sweet malt and some mild herbal hops. The flavor is sweet pale malt, a balancing bitterness and some mild hop flavor, along with some house yeast flavor. The aftertaste is dry. It's a refreshing beer and I enjoy it. I think this is one of the better budget beers in Sweden.
