    I thought cherry syrup when I tried it. It was good, especially if you like mead, but I expect this will be a divided opinion beer.

    I didn't get much cherry at all, but it was definitely a "decadent" beer. I opened a bottle after Zwanze with some friends and it takes a sip or two to acclimate. I enjoyed it, it's not a dry sour at all.

    that’s what The Scribe (and 4 Happiness) are intended to be like. it’s their take on Heart of Darkness in beer form i believe.
